With time reset, Shiv returns to life and remembers George shooting him. George is giddy about Sarah's resurrection. Realizing he's Shiv's target, George leaves Sarah and runs. Shiv and George hold each other at gunpoint in a standoff in George's stairwell. George convinces Shiv that he looks guiltier than George does. The next morning, George offers a weak excuse to Sarah for his actions last night. He also mends fences with Karl to avoid Sarah having another accident. Archie says Ryan the I.T. guy supported George's suspicions about Shiv. Haunted by memories, George bolts from Sarah's work gathering at a bar. Rebrov is prepared for Lazarus's raid to capture him in Paris. Sarah is angling for a summer trip to Paris. In three months, they go. Sarah admits to George that she's worried about stagnating. George proposes, surprising Sarah. But she accepts. By the next morning, she changes her mind, concerned about their condition of their relationship. They break up. Archie informs George that time loops have destroyed other relationships. She points out Sarah may have a purpose that doesn't involve him. She tells him Shiv allowed himself to be seen in Hamburg. Wes assigns Archie and George to find out if Shiv was involved with four killings of mercenaries in Hamburg. A hair Archie finds at the scene belongs to Janet, who appeared to be a hostage of the Chinese government. On Checkpoint Night 2024, George has an intruder. It's Shiv and they battle until George shoots him at the stroke of midnight. George does a poor job of disposing of Shiv's body at a construction site. Sarah meets with George to inform him she's getting married. A cop questioned George about the disturbance three weeks ago. A time loop occurs and George shoots Shiv again.
