The team are wondering where Luther went, so Negan plants seeds of doubt as he tells them he didn't want to be a part of the plan because he didn't believe in it.
In a flashback, Simon tells Negan that the Croat has done something. When they get to the room, he's murdered a kid because she came from the Hilltop, looking for answers.
In the present, the Croat asks a kid he has controlling music and lights at Madison Square garden whether he's scared of him.
The Croat hears Negan's whistle and rushes off to find him.
Maggie, Tomasso, Amaia and the others make their way inside the stadium, but it's a trap.
All of the exits get blown up and zombies from the street spill into the venue. Tomasso seemingly dies, and Maggie finds Ginny and tries to keep her safe.
The Croat's men start leaving the stadium but some stay put and Negan tries to escape.
He catches up with the Croat, who tells him they can rule the island and be one, but Negan is shocked.
He shows him Pearlie and throws him over the banister to him. Negan saves Pearlie and they make a run for it.
Maggie realizes the only way out is the sewers and sends everyone down and follows them. She's terrified, but there's no other way out.
