A woman is running, seemingly from a war-torn area trying to save herself.

Soldiers find her, and she fights them off, beating each of them even though she is completely outnumbered.

She is revealed to be pregnant, and while fighting she simultaneously goes into labor.

Cutaway to our villagers with Loial, Lan, and Moiraine traveling through the Ways.

Anger ensues in relation to Mat's decision, and Moiraine tells them that it's done and there's nothing she can do.

When traveling through the Ways, they find that things have been disrupted by the Dark One and his armies.

A Trolloc attacks, and when one of the villagers channels to defend themselves, they got attacked by the Machin Shin, or Dark Winds.

They quickly escape but not before the dark winds whispers threats and terrifying nightmares into their ears.

They arrive in the city of Fal Dara, where they meet with a whole new cast of characters.

Moiraine tells the group that she plans on taking them all to the Eye of the World, which will be the end for whoever is NOT the Dragon.

The villagers argue about what their fates should be, with Egwene wanting to go anyway and Nynaeve being the most resistant.

Nynaeve stalks Lan, and they eventually end up having intimate relations.

Rand visits the Seer, Min, on his own to confirm his own suspicions that he is the Dragon Reborn.

Min all but confirms it.

The next morning, all of the villagers decide they'd rather sacrifice themselves to save everyone, but Moiraine and Rand are gone.

They have already started out to the Eye of the World, even leaving Lan behind.
