Amira is watching a hamster for school.

Khaled was working contruction on a roof. His boss was late in payments, so he said something, his boss pushed him off the roof, and he got injured. Bash convinces him to go to the hospital. The police come looking. Bash talks to the cop, and he says he isn't interested if going after Khaled for being undocumented. He knows the boss has been taking advantage of undocumented workers, and he needs Khaled toconfirm it. Khaled gets scared and tries to run from the hospital. He makes his condition worse. They treat him and he speaks with the cop.

Dr. Bishop asks Mags to present on the amnesia case. She doesn't have the time, but doesn't want to waste the oppurtunity.

Mags collapses from high blood pressure, and Dr. Bishop insists she take some time off and consider a different residency.

Mags has a patient, Laura, who is scared of a man She says he will claim to be her father, but the isn't. Intially, Mags thinks he is abusive. However, after Laura clims Theo is not a real doctor, Mags thinks Laura is suffering from paranoid delusions. Laura's father Michael says her mother Sarah had schizophrenia. She commited suicide.

A teenage diver, Trey, falls off a diving board, hits another one, and gets injured. He says he fell because his legs have been weak on and off lately. He says he keeps diving because it is the only thing keeping his parents together. He eventually tells them how he feels.

June's father shows up. He's in a 12 step program, and he gives June his number. He talks to her boss. He has stomach cancer and wants to make things right. She says no.

June agrees to meet Lou's son.
