Recap
- Jack wakes up in the middle of the night and Mel isn't beside him. He goes looking for her and starts to get worried, but he finds her in the back of her car sleep. Mel says that she's a light sleeper and Jack's snoring keeps her up so he tells her he's moving into the B&B. He also talks about how he's never lived with someone before so this is new to him.
- Doc and Hope catch up, but she says that she'll be staying with her aunt for a bit to help clean up. She tasks Doc with running the Lumberjack Games
- Mike tells Jack that he brought in Jimmy and Jack wants to head down there to talk to him face to face.
- Joey calls and tells Mel that her divorce hearing is set and she's upset about everything. She's upset that her ex-husband wants his new young girlfriend to meet the kids. Mel offers to be there to help Joey face her husband in court and support her.
- Mel overhears a message Julia the hedge hunter leaves for Doc.
- Connie questions Lizzie about her trip to a motel with Ricky.
- Ricky gives Lizzie the cold shoulder about Parker.
- Preacher tells Jack about his job offer and how he declined it when Jack makes fun of him when Jamie calls, and Jack is surprised that Preacher was considering leaving.
- Brady is in the hole with the company going under because Calvin didn't do his diligence, debt, not being able to pay employees, infested trees on the lot, and more.
- Brie tells Jack that she's not interested in finding a job in law and that she's not into it anymore. She asks him about Charmaine, and he tells her about the limits they may place on them. She recommends a lawyer in Eureka who owes her a favor. She also tells him not to screw things up with Mel.
- Preach has to go to the school to pick up Christopher because he isn't feeling well, but he thinks that it's another case of Christopher faking it to avoid the other kids.
- Tara comes to see Doc about Lilly. She's picking up that something is going on, and she's worried about Lilly. They want to get Lilly to come in.
- Preach and Christopher go to the clinic. Christopher is hypoxic and stress on his lungs is keeping him from breathing properly.
- Jack goes to the station and talks to Jimmy. When Jimmy threatens Mel, Jack goes to attack him, and he has to get pulled away.
- Lilly talks to Muriel about Muriel's interest in Doc, and Muriel attempts to set things straight.
- Christopher is fine. He admits that he was swimming with bigger boys who dunked him a few times, and that's what led to aspirated water in his lungs and respiratory issues. preacher feels guilty about it because he was dismissive of Christopher's feelings about camp.
- Brie meets up with Brady for drinks.
- Lizzie brings her suitcase over, and she wants to stay with Ricky and his grandmother. Jack draws Mel a romantic bath when she gets home.
- Mike calls and tells Jack that Jimmy had to walk because he had an alibi, he was arrested that night for something else. Doc tells Hope about his diagnosis.
- Jack built Mel a swing like the one she told him about from when he was young, and he and Brie put tea lights all around the lake for their romantic dinner outside. He takes her rowing in the lake with the tealights and its beautiful
- Brie and Brady have a great night out, and they're dancing together at the bar when someone she used to know from her old job recognizes her and starts to say that she was right about something. But Brie leaves abruptly. Brie leaves Brady at the bar.
- Mel is lying in Jack's arms after their romantic evening and when he wonders what she's thinking, she asks him what he would think about their having a baby.
