- They throw an engagement party for Jack and Mel at the airstreams.
- She tells him it's okay for him to have a sip for the toast, but he drinks way too much and eventually causes a scene.
- He envisins his brother Adam asking him why he let him down and let him fall off the roof.
- Jack wakes up and it was all a nightmare.
- Brady prepares to go to Jeb's funeral.
- Mel runs into Cam when they're running and she seems to be giving him the cold shoulder while he tries to small talk. She feels like he's prying and reminds him that he said he didn't want to know about her personal life.
- Hope, Doc, and Lizzie watch footage of the fires and want to make meals for first responders of the fire. But Lizzie and Hope are intending to use it to prove that Hope should still be mayor.
- Jack talks to his therapist about his nightmare and his therapist reminds him that he's having issues with trying to be in control.
- His therapist suggests that he finds an activity that feels like he's out of control so he can learn to handle it in real life.
- Doc is having vision issues.
- Muriel encourages Doc to take the day off.
- As part of taking a calculated risk, Jack joins Denny rock climbing.
- A firefighter calls needing help with a pregnant patient who is familiar withMel.
- Jack struggles rock climbing.
- Kaia tells Mel that the mother FIona is abut to deliver, so Mel and Cameron facetime Kaia to deliver the baby where they are.
- Lizzie's mother Deidre shows up for a surprise visit.
- She tells Lizzie that her father got to pull some strings and Lizzie is off to college in the fall.
- Brie confides in Brady about how when she was dating Don she was taking more Zantax then she needed and had some wine that they will paint her as an addict and her license could be revoked.
- Jack slides while climbing because he's thinking about his brother and Denny talks him through climbing.
- Fiona passes out while trying to deliver the baby. Kaia gets her away after giving her glucose, delivers the baby then has to give the baby CPR when the baby is blue and isn't breathing.
- Hope keeps noticing that Deidre is nitpicking with Lizzie and when the news cameras arrive, she pushes Lizzie to take the credit for the organized event.
- Denny and Jack bond and Denny tells him about his Huntingtons.
- Kaia meets Preacher.
- Brie bumps into Pauline, Jeb's wife. She tells him that Brady gave a speech at the funeral and she wants Brady to have the bike that Jeb and he were working on. She says that Jeb was clean for a decade and she hates that people hearing he OD'd get a certain impression.
- Lizzie's mother tells her how proud she is of her and that she doesn'tw ant her to miss out on college.
- Her mother says she'll cut her off if she doesn't go to college.
- Kaia drops by the bar when Preacher is all alone for a drink. She's very flirty.
- Kaia makes her move and they end up making out at the bar.
- Jack decides that he wants to take Melissa up on her offer.
- Brie confronts Brady about his deception regardin Jeb and he comes clean about the fentanyl through the lumbeyard and the threats against her.
- She tells Brady she needs spsace from him and time to thinkl.
