Recap
- Mel gets inside the burning house in time to rescue baby Chloe and wake up an unconscious Ava.
- Doc and Cam with Muriel's have to inflate Jake's lung and Doc is having issues with seeing so Cam takes over.
- Denny freaks out and Bert gets there in time and moves a car out of the way so Denny and Lizzie can escape.
- Jack shows up at the house in time to assist Mel.
- Jack frees the animals and Ava and Chloe and Mel head to the hospital.
- Hope is freaking out about Denny and Lizzie and is reieved when they show up.
- Amelia and Brie are freaking out about Jack and the others since the roads are closed off.
- Cam and Doc argue when Doc tells him about his Macular Degeneration.
- Doc tells Mel what's happening too and Cam refuses to let Doc do anything.
- Cam also gets upset with Muriel for not telling him something was happening with Doc.
- Denny is in his feelings about what happened and needs some space from Lizzie.
- Preacher is freaking out about Jack nkot being there and Brady keeps reassuring him. The woman whose daughter was saved keeps hitting on and thanking Brady.
- They tell them that they can't save some of the homes.
- Mel gives Doc the pep talk he needs to keep going after he keeps second guessing himself.
- Jack mentions being worried about her and she doesn't get the chance to tell him about the baby
- Lilly's house and barn are gone
- Brie and Amelia butt heads with Mike trying to play mediator.
- Brady and Preeacher start arguing but Jack interrupts when the fire jumped the river.
- They have to evacuate the bar and Hope takes charge
- Brady and Preach continue to bicker and Preach won't trust Brady who gives him advice on how to fight the fire becauswe he did it in prison.
- Doc chooses to stay behind and Cam is staying too
- Jack and Hope talk a man Charlie into using his crop duster to fight the fire.
- Denny finally talks to Lizzie and apologizes. He doesn't feel like he come to grips with death.
- They tell each other they love each other.
- Amelia opens up to Brie and tells her how much she loves Brie and why she struggled so hard and was jealous of how close Brie was with her father.
- Nick hand Hope the reins to mayor again
- Muriel tells Hope about what happened at the clinic
- Preach thanks Brady and Brady tells him he needs him to not see him as who he used to be
- Preach finds out from another firefighter that Jay, the injured one is Kaia's husband.
- Brie thanks Mike for being there and supporting her especially since she told him what she went through. And they share a long hug and nearly kiss but he leaves.
- Jack shows up and Mel sobs into his arms and he understands what happened.
