Liv and Will make it to Yosemite, and on their way to hike, they’re surprised to see Cara and Cara’s boyfriend, Garth, there.

Liv suggests they hike with the couple, and Will reluctantly agrees.

Liv and Garth walk and chat about Will, as Garth had heard from Cara about Will.

Two weeks earlier, Liv finds Cara on social media and follows her around the city. After seeing her get her nails done, Liv gets hers done as well and fields a call from her mother, who can tell something is wrong. She tells Liv she thinks it’s time for her to come home.

Later, she and Ash go to a club, where Ash admits she likes Liv. With Cara at the club, Liv watches her through the evening and follows her out of the club to a gym, where she hears Cara on the phone arranging to meet Will.

Liv then surprises Will in the hotel lobby as Cara pulls up, causing her to leave.

On the trails, the two couples discuss how they met and marriage. Once they make it to the water, Will falls into a small ditch as he’s distracted by Cara changing into her swimsuit.

With Will unable to walk, Liv and Cara head back onto the trail to find help and discuss what Will has told her about Liv.

After getting help from the park rangers, Will and Liv discover their car has been stolen, and Cara and Garth take them back to the hotel.

As Will vows to make things right with Liv, Garth stops by with clothes for Will to borrow, and Liv borrows clothes from Cara, and the two talk about their pasts.

After Will declines Garth’s invitation for them all to eat dinner together, he and Liv argue, and Liv leaves him at the table. When she returns, Cara pulls her aside to chat and seemingly apologizes for her affair with Will.

Liv and Will argue in the hotel room as she asks why she wasn’t good for Will, and he tells her she was too much for him.

Will leaves and gets drunk at the bar while Liv drinks alone in the room. On his way out of the bar, Will runs into Cara.

After passing out, Liv wakes up in the room and finds Will’s phone. She sees a message from Cara asking him to leave with her and meet her at the waterfall. Liv then goes into the woods and sees someone in a red raincoat, pushing them off the mountain.
