We kick off Monday Night Raw in style: Vince McMahon announced that Batista will be the evening "guest host." He will enjoy the same powers as a general manager.

Batista says that there will be a four-man tournament to decide who faces Randy Orton at Night of Champions.

- MVP vs. Triple H in a semi-final Night Of Champions Tournament Match: Porter tries for the Playmaker but Triple H counters and he hits the Pedigree for the victory.

- Edge and Chris Jericho vs. Carlito and Primo for the Unified Tag Titles: Carlito hits the knee lift, but bumps into his brother when he tries for the springboard back elbow. Edge hits the spear for the three count.

- John Cena vs. The Miz in a Night of Champions Semi-Final Match: Cena locks in the STF and Miz tapes out.

- Kelly Kelly vs. Mickie James vs. Beth Phoenix vs. Rosa Mendes in a Fatal Four Way Number-One Contender Match: After back and forth action, Rosa with a knee, but James with a forearm and a kick followed by the DDT for the win.

- The Big Show vs. Kofi Kingston in a Non-Title Match:  Show attempts to send Kofi into the ring post, but Kingston gets to his feet and Show is sent there instead; the referee makes the ten count. A double count out!

- Randy Orton vs. Three New Raw Superstars in a Gauntlet Match: first opponent is Evan Bourne, as Orton hits a super RKO for the three count. Second opponent is Jack Swagger, who counts himself out. Third opponent is Mark Henry (ugggh, who wants to see him receive another push?!?). Orton tries for the RKO, but Henry counters and hits the Wolrd’s Strongest Slam for the three count.
