It's the best time of the year, TV Fanatics.

Discovery Channel is once again airing Shark Week, a seven-day tribute to the ocean's most dangerous animal. 

With this great tradition in mind, we're here to rundown 11 of the most famous fiction sharks in TV and movie history.

1. Jaws

Come on, where else would we start? We're gonna need a bigger boat to properly pay tribute to this big screen predator.

2. Sharknado

Really, as this poster reads: Enough said. Sharknado owns the small screen.

3. West Side Story Sharks

The Sharks took on The Jets in a finger-snapping West Side Story showdown.

4. Miami Sharks

Al Pacino coached the Miami Sharks in Oliver Stone's classic sports movie, Any Given Sunday.

5. Sharks with Laser Beams

Dr. Evil would like $1 million and sharks with laser beams on their heads. Is this too much to ask for????

6. Jaws from James Bond

Richard Kiel stood 7'2" tall and played the villian Jaws in two James Bond films.

7. Don Lino

Don Lino was voiced by Robert De Niro. He played a huge role in the 2004 movie Shark Tale.

8. Bruce

Bruce from finding Nemo looks scary. And he did initially try to eat the title character. But he ended up realizing that fish are "friends," not "food."

9. The Shark Who Fonzie Jumped on Happy Days

We never caught this shark's name. But he played a key role in one of television's most iconic/absurd scenes.

10. Shark Tank on ABC

These may be the scariest sharks out there. Beware of Mark Cuban!

11. Sharpedo

Look out! Sharpedo from Pokemon can swim up to 80 miles per hour. Stay away from him.
