Jeanne Tripplehorn is an American born actress who started off working her local radio station as a DJ.
Tripplehorn then moved on to study at on of the most prestigious schools - Julliard.
Although, these days, she is most commonly recognized as "The First Wife" on Big Love - her movie career is what created her.
Jeanne is best-known for her roles starring opposite some heavy hitters, like Michael Douglas in Basic Instinct, Tom Cruise in The Firm, and Kevin Costner in Waterworld.
Tripplehorn almost became Mrs. Ben Stiller back in the day, but as fortune has it - she married Leland Orser, a co-star from the cult hit Very Bad Things. They have one son, August Tripplehorn Orser, together.
