Game of Thrones Preview Teases Major Season 6 Death

Is Jon Snow actually dead?

This is the question all Game of Thrones fans are asking themselves as we head into Game of Thrones Season 6.

But HBO has released a new promo that may have viewers wondering about something else.

The trailer below does not feature any new footage.

It does, however, give us a look at numerous familiar, dead characters’ faces in the House of Black and White’s face repository... which is the place where Arya seemingly went blind on the Season 5 finale.

We hear Robb Stark talk about how he's "won every battle, but is losing this war," while seeing his face... and we also hear Catelyn Stark say to "show them how it feels to lose what they love."

Yes, Jon Snow is included in this montage, but that's not the stunner.

The stunner is that this promo concluded with Tyrion's face being included among a glimpse at all who have been killed, just as Jon Snow says the word "dead."

This could be a major red herring on HBO's part, of course, but if the goal of the network was to get people talking, safe to say that goal has been accomplished.
