Despite the way The Originals Season 2 concluded - with Klaus sitting along, cradling his daughter, having made enemies of pretty much all his loved ones - the first promo for The Originals Season 3 makes it clear that the Mikaelsons will have to come together.
Because there's a new threat coming to town that wants to tear them apart. Limb by limb by limb.
"What if I told you the Originals are very far from untouchable?” a mysterious character says in the above video, handing over a bunch of files to another new villain and adding:
“After a millennium, we finally know their weakness."
This enemy goes on to say they should go after "the ones who made us."
It looks like the vampires sired by The Originals are coming to New Orleans. And they're pissed!
The Originals Season 3 kicks off on Thursday, October 8 at 9/8c on The CW.
