There is another special preview of next week's episode on youtube.com. It is very intense and is the scene between Cristina and Burke when you hear her say "we crossed the line" only that wasn't the beginning of it. Burke is saying he crossed the line and hid his tremor and that it was unspeakable, unimaginable, unethical. Then she says, "we crossed the line". It is an argument between them that breaks my heart but at the same time he says things that needed to be said. People on youtube are saying he is an ass and needs to apologize to her, but I see it as encouraging. He is taking charge of his life again, and he needed to do that for both of their sakes. I know he loves her and I can't imagine that he won'tl apologize, but right now it is hurtful, kind of like real relationships.

I'm with you, Rose. It makes me too nervous to try to anticipate what is going to happen. I was hoping the whole blood spurting out of someone's chest during surgery would also be a part of a nightmare, but I don't think it is. The promo from Oprah, though, might be because you hear that breathing throughout it and the way it replays fast rewind at the end makes you think it might be either a nightmare or a premonition, but not something in real time. I really hope George's dad doesn't die and that Burke and Cristina are still together after next week's episode. Either event would just be too hard to take on a holiday.

BB you could very well be right about Cristina having a nightmare. I notice that they really manipulate the previews to trick you into thinking something will happen that doesn't...for instance, the preview of Alex and Izzie kissing had looked like she was happily embracing him. So guess I will try to stop exhausting myself figuring out this show and try to wait for Thursday!

HI Rose, Didn't Shonda say on Oprah that the promo was the first 15 seconds of the Thanksgiving episode? If she did, it might be a nightmare that Cristina is having because she is feeling so worried and guilty about the secret. In the regular previews there is a scene when Burke and Cristina are operating on someone and blood starts spurting all over. I'm just hoping that isn't George's father. I'm worried, too, that Burke and Cristina will be repsonsible for the death of George's father and that George will ever forgive them.

Hi Purplemerder, I agree, Alex has a lot more heart than he first showed. I loved him in season two and the way he always stood up for Izzie even after she fell in love with Denny. I keep thinking about what we know of his childhood and it sounded pretty awful. When you think about it Cristina, Meredith, Izzie, Alex all had childhoods that lacked love and attention from both parents. They are all a bit flawed because of their childhoods. I loved Alex and Izzie in the bar towards the end of this past week's episode when Izzie said she didn't know he still felt that way about her and Alex said he didn't either. They were really great together. I've heard Kate Walsh say a couple of times that she has a thing for Alex, but I'm not sure she would be able to say that if in fact Shonda was writing a story for them. Shonda is so big into keeping everything a secret.

Hey burke backer... I know that oprah might consider Alex on of the bad boys...but I don't think he is anymore...he just speaks the truth...may it be blunt...I just think Alex has come a long way from being the bad boy intern....and if Oprah was a true fan I think that she would have recognized that by now...
she is not a true fan..but i am glad she did the show on GA.
next weeks episode is certainly going to be amazing...I think that we are all going to be shocked about what happens..but it will get our hearts racing and that is what we all love about GA.

About the promo on Oprah--I know this is going to sound really depressing, but I get the feeling Cristina was freaking out because she was doing the surgery on George's dad with Burke, and Mr. O'Malley dies, and she feels responsible. She was flashing back to the passion scene between her and Burke, where she is holding his bad hand and bringing it upwards towards her, it just seemed to connect his hand with the surgery. I think its going to be bad news for the two of them in the next episode. I hope I'm wrong, but that promo was very disturbing. GA being GA, I believe it will eventually come out ok for them, but I think there's going to be alot more angst before that happens.

Hi Purplemerder, it bothered me, too. But, I think she grouped T.R., Isaiah, Patrick, and James together to discuss the incident on the set and they were aparently all involved at one level or another. Isaiah looked really nervous to me as he tried to explain himself. I have never loved T.R., James and Patrick more than when they came to his rescue. All of the stressed the fatigue factor and the family factor and that it was blown out of proportion. At the end of that segment Isaiah kind of threw his hands up in relief as they broke away to commercial and Patrick reached over and kind of patted him on the back, which was a really kind and lovely thing to do. In that moment I became a Patrick Dempsey fan. So, I think Justin wasn't in that group because he wasn't involved at any level in the dispute. She also referred to him as "bad boy intern", so maybe she thinks of both of them as bad boys. Would you believe I taped Oprah yesterday afternoon and my tape ran out before the pr

loved the oprah show and loved the promo...it was unreal...can't wait till next week..
Question for all of you out there: did anyone find it troubling that alex was lumped with mcmanwhore in the interview with oprah? why wasn't he with the other guys? he deserved to be with them...i mean she only talked to him for 2 seconds...and I got the impression that mcmanwhore in real life is the same as his character...he seemed so cold and selfcentered...i just don't like him...everyone else was so personable and he was ..i don't know how to say...just a jerk....

Watched Oprah this afternoon. It was good to see her talk to all of the characters. Ellen said she didn't like the tub scene with Patrick from last nights episode!!!!!!!! (not sure if she was joking or not). Whats up with that???? Maybe its because she knows here boyfriend may be jealous or something???? You know…… Ellen enjoys playing the part with Patrick, but she said she didn't really want her boyfriend to see that scene. She did admit that her and Patrick have great chemistry together! Patrick just always seems so at ease when he is asked questions about MER/Der as a couple where Ellen acts alittle hesitate to comment. (Maybe I misread something) Patrick was smiling and winking @ Ellen and says he is glad they are back together as a couple! Acting his normal charming self! …They are so great together, you would really think they were a real couple! You should watch them in the NY & Co videos! THey were so at ease with each other, laughing and joking the entire time! Gla
