Tonight's Episode: Staring at the Sun
Tonight's episode, "Staring at the Sun," picks up right where Grey's Anatomy left off last week with "Where the Boys Are."
George's father, who we were introduced to in Season 2 (right) is admitted to the hospital a serious heart problem that requires surgery. George chooses Dr. Burke to do the procedure, because he's the best... or so Dr. O'Malley and most of the Seattle Grace staff believe.
Burke, of course, is not fine, at least not entirely, and doubts himself because he knows the pressure this kind of surgery will put on him. But Cristina believes the "team" can handle it. George starts to wonder what's amiss and tensions rise throughout the hospital.
Derek and Meredith on being a couple again... in the bathtub, apparently, as well as at work. McDreamy also tries his best to work with Addison on more civil terms. A patient comes to see Mark, having had mutiple plastic surgeries so that his girlfriend will like him more.
Lastly, a mom wants her daughter's babysitter fired, after she is brought in with injuries -- only the girl would rather her mother be fired.

Hi Rebecca. I get things all out of order in when I think back on an episode, but I believe the last 20 minutes or so we saw Callie comes to George's rescue as he is trying to explain his father's condition to his family. Callie uses a car analogy and explains it in a way that his brothers can understand. Cristina comes in to check on George's dad and he confides in her that George told him she was the best intern of all. I think she was very touched by that but eventually told George's Dad that George was actually the best intern, a good doctor and a good person and that he had raised a good person. The look on the Dad's face was just priceless. Did you see the place when Alex kissed Izzie in the stairwell? She kind of drew back and said she couldn't, that it was too soon after Denny. Later they meet up at the bar and she says she didn't know he still thought about her that way and he said he didn't know it either and she buys him a drink. We see a second scene of Derek and M

I hope Meredith and Derek do get to try to be a real couple. I want to see Derek's more creative side to romance. Burke and Cristina can't keep hinding the fact about Burke's hand. I think I feel more sorry for Cristina than Burke when they get caught. I know some people want Alex and Izzy together. But I'd like to see him with Addison they could do great things together. George always seems to get the short end of the stick. He's a great guy and hope things look uo for him. I also want the firey Bailey back I miss that.

I am literally a nervous wreck worrying about what is going to happen with Burke and Cristina tonight. This is such a crossroads episode for them with the hand thing and the secret thing and I just want it to be resolved in a good way for everyone without losing anyone including George's dad. Help!! It is kind of like a trip to the dentist. I can't wait for it to be over. I didn't expect to care this much when I started watching this show.

I beleive, Christina has really gotten her booty in BIG trouble, she will not win Bailey's respect back. Leave it to Alex to give-it up to George and make him feel like a small worm, that was totally uncalled for. Torres is done with George and will not come shlepping back, not her style. Addison will stay with Mcsteamy for a while, then move on to a better place within herself, I have an inkling that Addison will fall for Alex. Meredith and Derek are really going to connect once again and keep their love strong. The story lines have gotten more profound and thought provoking, the writer's have really turned it up a notch.
