Hi Karen, I agree. I miss the lighter more comical moments. The tension is very high this year in part due to the Burke tremor and the secret. I part due to George's father's condition and Izzy healing after Denny's death, and Ellis's devastation at Richard leaving her once again (at least in her mind). It is good that Meredith and Derek are back together, but it doesn't seem like anyone else is particularly happy.

I don't think its going to be George and Callie. I hop its Meredith and Derek they make a very cute couple and really luv each other.

i hope to the GA gods that this isn't true...i would much rather have an addek flashback than this. they are soo weird together. i am probably totally off on this but neither mark or addison are yet signed to this season, so i can see addy getting pregnant and marrying mark and them moving back to ny, but i doubt it.

I agree. I just don't think O'Mailey and Torres are rushing down to the Alter anytime soon...
I think if there is going to be a wedding at all, it is going to be Burke and Cristina's. Come on, they are by far the most reliable couple in the show. You just know these two are wildly attracted to each other. They are both very passionate and they really love each other...
but i think if a wedding is taking place, it won't be the classic romantic style..it will be comedical if anything 2 mothers scoring it off, maybe Dr Yang tries to be the run-away bride? wedding in the OR, who knows?
I feel that with the recent episodes, the show has become too dramatic and heavy....i want some light elements back

Seriously Susan I hope you're right. I want my MerDer wedding! But if that doesn't happen, the only other pleasant option would be Burke and Christina. I hope it's not George and Callie. I can't stand Callie most of the time and George hasn't even told her that he loves her yet.

OMG, I really hope this rumor isn't true. I can't say that I really truly hate any character/pairing/etc on this show, but if I had to pick a least favorite couple, it'd be George and Callie. I agree that Callie brings out some qualities that would otherwise never be seen in George--she pushes him to step up to the plate--but sometimes it's too much. Plus, Callie is a brat, to put it nicely. "Why won't you say 'I love you' back?! I said it to you!!!" "Why can't I move in with you?!" "Why won't you come to the hotel?!" "It's always Meredith or Izzie, never me!" Whine, growl, complain, hiss, etc. She's had her good moments (ie she was pretty nice to George's family) --then, just as I think maybe she's not so bad after all, she goes back to the stubborn brat. I don't wish she wasn't on the show or anything--Sara Ramirez portrays Callie very well and her character adds a lot to the show. Just please, don't marry off her and George. Seriously.

It would be a real rip off if the promised wedding is nothing more than a flashback. If there is going to be a wedding it really ought to be one of the primary couples like Burke and Cristina or Derek and Meredith. They have had long standing relationships, granted with ups and downs, but the love has been there for three seasons. Why would the writers have anyone else marry? I guess we'll just have to trust them that there is a good story in there somewhere if it turns out to be George and Callie.

That would be a little strange maybe to see George and Callie married, especially if Callie is pregnant and they don't really want to be married but are just doing it for the baby...

I agree with those who previously wrote that it would be unrealistic to have Callie and George marry. He doesn't even really like her right now. How does that go from luke warm to marriage in one season when we have had Burke and Cristina living together for two? I like George, well most of the time, not lately. Callie's character is too abrasive for me. I really hated that she was dancing around in her underware in the hospital and didn't even put clothes on when the chief accidently found her, not to mention the peeing in front of Izzie and Meredith scene. Gross. They just don't seem to fit for me either. But, like you say, opposites attract. Sometimes. And, I have liked her better with George's dad and family.
I think Adele is going to be the one who dies so that would eliminate the Chief from the marriage possbilities unless he married poor Ellis and I don't see that happening. The only ones that make sense to me to marry this season are Derek and Meredith or my per

Not sure how I feel about this, George hasn't even said that he loves Callie yet but if the potential marriage is to be revealed in February, there is time yet for him to tell her. He did seem to reconcile with her during the last new episode. I think Callie is good for George, she sees something in him that no one else does. I do agree however that on screen, they don't quite have the chemistry of Derek and Meredith or any of the other couples on the show.

I have a hard time seeing this one happening. But it is GA and Shonda and her staff can create some very interesting story lines. We will just have to wait and see. However Callie is stuff but I don't think she is reall all that mature.

I disagree with this spoiler and I so don't want this to happen. I don't think that they match well together and I agree with Vee and purplemerder... bring back Oliva. They were cute together despite the whole syph thing.
If anyone on the show should get married it should be the chief and his wife renewing their vowls or Joe and his boyfriend(even though the spoiler said it's two main characters and techinally joe really isn't a main character). I would like to see Addison and Mark get married but that'll only happen in my dreams and plus it would be to soon. The last time I checked, Mark and Addison weren't even really talking or enjoying the sight of each other. Maybe he looks forward to seeing her but you can tell she doesn't.

I love those two together she drives him to grow up and be a man. As far as the nurse she had the sif and slept with Alex .....I know its a bit of an odd couple but really, it seems like she loves him ....and loves him alot

since Callie's been in the sack with Sloan and George, she's probably pregnant and George, being the family guy that he is wants to marry her and make her an honest woman. I see George this because he's the "man" of the family if in case his father dies.
