i think if they do become a couple, they should be named ALEXSON

I agree, Burke and Cristina would still be interesting if/when Burke becomes Chief. But I'm hoping that the Chief doesn't retire for a while. I really like James Pickens; he's done some good stuff this season. He's a very funny guy and a good actors. And, the Chief is the wise one at Seattle Grace. So he can't retire yet.

The poll results do not surprise me. I think the Burke backers belief he and Cristina could still be happy together if he were chief, while the McDreamy backers think he should have more time to spend with Meredith that being chief would not allow. Bubble baths and building a home together on that land by the lake comes to mind.
Meredith: People change, but they don't change.
