Well, Grey's Anatomy fans, you can officially exhale.

Meredith Grey was brought back to life after a miraculous turn of events. We were a little scared for a while, but are thrilled (as we're sure you are) she pulled through. After keeping us on the edges of our seats for three weeks, Part III of this extravaganza was every bit as good as advertised.

luvthisshow--I was able to get on the forums once for a few minutes earlier today--then it went back to the sytem error thing. I have gotten only system error for days now. Very frustrating because I am so freaking MerDer happy after these 3 episodes and want to read the forums!!!!

Like the two first parts of this episode I have the feeling of something missing (emptyness!!). It was indeed perfect acting no doubt about that it was like they had to stretch the story to cover the 42 minutes. I hope they will add some real passion in the next episodes which, if my information is right, should be only 6 more. A break of 3 weeks does not even affect me which was not the case in December. Am I the only one with this feeling?

Last night's show was so great. Of course everyone knew she wouldn't die. But I really wasn't expecting Ellis to die. She seemed okay at the start of the show. Well at least Meredith has closure with her mom now. And Denny was there! Kind of, anyway. No way will Mark survive two months without getting any. Wow he must really like Addison a lot then.

I doubt that Meredith is the Cheif's daughter. I bet he just meant that it was his responsibility. Remember when he talked to lucid Ellis last, she told him to take care of Meredith? It's probably that. Cause he mentioned before he said that, how he wasn;t going to let Ellis Grey's die.

OH!! I don't know if there are any Buffy fans here but in case there are Marti Noxon (Buffy's Executive Producer/Writer) co-wrote this episode with Shonda!

Loved, loved, loved the episode! There's more to the chief's comment. Yes, Mer is one of their own so they are all obviously upset but the chief seemed to be even more upset that I would have thought he would be (could be because she's Ellis' daughter could be more) also when he was saying goodbye to Ellis, he was saying something like "I'll take care of her" I was sure he was going to say "I'll take care of our daughter". So happy to see Denny again... hmmm... Denny.... even if it was only for an episode. Oh DixieGirl! When Ellis was hugging Mer (I can't be sure) but I thought she said "don't be a damn..." as in "don't be a damn fool" and then stopped because she didn't want to treat Mer that way... that's just what I thought because of the look on her face when she said it. I could be wrong though...

What did Ellis say when she was hugging Mer? "Don't be a ????" It sounded like "dan" but that doesn't make sense.... And, yes, I think there's something telling in Richard's comments.....more story there. I just hope we can stay away from these disasters and do some more character development...and those great love scenes that make McDreamy and McSteamy and even McMouth (Burke) sizzle! lol

Grey's Anatomy Quotes

Did you say it? 'I love you. I don't ever want to live without you. You changed my life.' Did you say it? Make a plan. Set a goal. Work toward it, but every now and then, look around; Drink it in 'cause this is it. It might all be gone tomorrow."

Meredith (closing voiceover)

Lexie: [narrating] Grief may be a thing we all have in common, but it looks different on everyone.
Mark: It isn't just death we have to grieve. It's life. It's loss. It's change.
Alex: And when we wonder why it has to suck so much sometimes, has to hurt so bad. The thing we gotta try to remember is that it can turn on a dime.
Izzie: That's how you stay alive. When it hurts so much you can't breathe, that's how you survive.
Derek: By remembering that one day, somehow, impossibly, you won't feel this way. It won't hurt this much.
Bailey: Grief comes in its own time for everyone, in its own way.
Owen: So the best we can do, the best anyone can do, is try for honesty.
Meredith: The really crappy thing, the very worst part of grief is that you can't control it.
Arizona: The best we can do is try to let ourselves feel it when it comes.
Callie: And let it go when we can.
Meredith: The very worst part is that the minute you think you're past it, it starts all over again.
Cristina: And always, every time, it takes your breath away.
Meredith: There are five stages of grief. They look different on all of us, but there are always five.
Alex: Denial.
Derek: Anger.
Bailey: Bargaining.
Lexie: Depression.
Richard: Acceptance.
