You know, even though I thought the scene with Addie and The Quack in the stairwell was kind of hot, it was sort of...played out.
Actually, Alex used almost that EXACT line with Izzy when they were first hooking up. She said something about how they could have a conversation, if he wanted to, and he said something, like "Look, I kissed you and I kissed you with tongue, and I plan to do it again and again." Or something like that.
I dunno. The LA stuff was okay, but I really don't like it when anything infringes on my Grey's. It felt like a constant interruption.

so i agree with CK, i loved greys from episode one but it took out15 episodes for it to get big...probably the wonderfly written into you like a train episode really got them established...and so anyways the spinoff (if it gets picked up) needs some time to unfurl...its supposed to be a much lighter, more sex, comedy side of shonda's production skills...and i will have to fly down to LA..i live in NorCal...and punch shonda if derek does something stupid...i mean callie will barely be able to handle george's adultry, but meredith almost drowned herself, lost her mommy and her fake mommy, temporaily lost her soul mate to his wife, broke her best friends heart by tragically sleeping with him and so on...she will actually do something crazy other than tequila if she doesnt have her knight in shining whatever...and im not sure derek could actually do it since he is sooooo unbelievably in love with her so it would be a little unrealistic if he cheated and it was definitely adele who was on t

Mafis - (trying to solve our concerns about the girl in the bar)
I did look at the TV section @ Yahoo and checked out GA from there. I then clicked on cast and crew for the upcoming epsiode and it only list the chiefs wife as a guest star (From what I could tell by tivoing the show on Thurday night, the woman on the floor is Adele from the previews. Thats when the chiref was yelling for help!) and I did't see anyone elses name listed unless it hasn't been completed yet. Not sure if that means that whomever the girl is in the bar, really isn't considered a guest star and will not have a part big enough to matter! (just trying to convince myself) (ha). SO Derek better back off and leave that bar and find Meredith before she finds him first! THen he would really be in big trouble!! (Thats probably what will happen and then here we go again!)
I did see a good pic of Patrick filiming his new movie yesterday and he was looking mighty fine!

I agree with Justin 100%. To me the spin off was a complete bomb. I really think it may not have been as bad if it had been presented as a pilot and not taken away screen time from the characters we love on Greys. I just wanted to fast forward everything in LA and move on to the Seattle stuff. I was dying for a glimpse of Burke and Cristina, Derek and Meredith, even Izzie or George or Callie. Much as I like Addison, I wanted her with Alex or Mark or chatting with Callie.
To Kathy, Ausiello on TVguide and Kristen on Eonline (owned by abc, by the way) have both said that the National Inquirer story that you read on the website that you provided a link for above is complete bunk. Both TR and Isaiah's representative have said publically that they will be back for season 4. So it is highly unlikely that they will be leaving, although nothing is guaranteed, I suppose.
I just hope that Shonda leaves all of us in a good place for the summer. I think Derek and Meredith will f

i have a nagging feeling that the spinoff wont take off and addy will come back to greys hopefully. and all of you who are threatening shonda and criticizing her about the whole merder thing, in words of dr. bailey "shut the heck up" because its not her job to do what you people want. its her job to create show that is has drama and sex and surprises. shonda knows better than to break up mer der for sure so everyone chill out and let shonda play around....

I felt embarrassed to be watching this. I stopped watching Six Feet Under after I started to feel embarrassed with it -- I think it might be the same way with Grey's.
Why did I feel embarrassed? I had the feeling that it was no longer drama, it had evolved into soap opera. Perhaps it was always a soap. but at one point the spell was broken.
I hope my "Grey's" spell hasn't been broken with this episode.

Ok, I liked the spinoff...personally, I think most people I talked to went into it with a bad mind set...I really liked that it was something different. I am getting a little bored of the same stories on grey's (i still love the show). I think both shows can do well. I do, however, think it would have been better if they put them in separate episodes. It would have had more continuity and allow us to focus on what was going on in Seattle Grace. But I do love the cast of the spinoff.

I honestly gave the spin-off a chance since I really like Addison and used to like Tim Daly in Wings but WOW DID IT EVER BOMB! When I was watching the 2 hour show I found myself missing the Seattle Grace scenes and chemistry sooooooo much. I think that the writers feel that the L.A. scene might be enthralling since they live there but what a snorefest! The whole L.A. feel just does not have what it takes and is definitely not what most people want to watch. The doctor's were portrayed as unbelievable on many levels. The pediatrician who has to date sleezy women on the internet, Addison who is too dumb to figure out the elevator is not possessed and just a security person (that was soooo obvious from the start), the gross and unattractive surfer dude who the female M.D.s are fawning over..........overall some of the worst writing that I think I have ever had to sit through.........I am not going to waste anymore time and now see the spin-off as going the route of "Joey". I don't know how much more of this between Mer and Der I can take! Seriously! I felt good about them as couple several episodes ago when one of the spoilers indicated they would be happy for a long time to come and when she lost someone close to her it would bring Mer and Der closer together! What happened to that???????!!!!!!!!!
Then, the last 3 episodes have been signs of things going wrong wtih Mer and Der. I usually watch again on Friday nights, but my heart can't take it! I can't believe SHonda and the writers are doing this to this couple! And, the previews for next week, is another heart breaker! All we can hope for is that it isn't as it seems. Obviously, that girl at the bar offers to buy him a drink and I certainly hope HE TURNS HER DOWN! At this point, I don't know what to think about Mer/Der. I was hoping that they were finally going to be happy. I hate to get my hopes up! I guess all we can hope for his something good to happen in the next (2) episodes that will

i forgot to mention the fact that it's a little unrealistic for THAT many doctors//interins to be hurt over the span of 3 seasons (burke getting shot, chief having heart attack, mer almost dying,... and now bailey's on the floor!! not to mention addison getting really sick from the plague!!)

yeahh. so i can't decide if i liked this epi or not.. but seriously it was getting annoying how they kept changing back and forth i was like okay?? but i know it was to like advertise for the new spinoff but they could have done like 30 min LA 30 min Seattle so it wasnt soo annoying. it seemed to me like everytime i felt something good was gonna happen they would switch it.. i was like ENOUGH!!
i thought eric dane did great acting .. you can really tell he loves addison (i also like tim daly)
ellen pompeo did a great episode which is definitely not a surprise but seriously i know this is a TV show but is it that realistic to have soo much happen to her in one season? (it started with appendix surgery, then her almost dying, then her mom dying, then derek questioning their relationship, then her step-mom dying, her dad slapping her.....)
i really don't know how much more of this she can take. it's getting ridiculous!!
I mean, i watch this show for both the drama and medica
