I love George and Izzie, they have such amazing chemistry, both romantic and friendship. I know chemistry is subjective, but theirs is just explosive. I find myself reglarly saying Wow watching them. They leave me breathless and they are the reason why I watch this show.
But seriously, people calm down, this is a show.
I guess it is telling that Gizzie gets such strong reaction, on BOTH sides, they get more reaction and passion than even MerDer. Katherine Heigl said that half the people she met totally LOVED george and Izzie together and the other half hated them, but that she had not met one eprson that was indifferent to them and she thought that was interesting.
Thiose comments prove that.

Izzie treats George like a possesion? Funny because I thought it was Callie doing that. Every single time George does something that displeases her, she taps him on the nose with the enwspaper like a dog. isn't that what George told her? He also told Izzie that Callie made him feel like he was wrong all the time. She wants George to herself and was even willing for him to go to an inferior hospital, so he would ave no distractions from her.
izzie, on the other had, lied about ehr feelings for him so he would stay at the hospital with his other friends and would not ruin his caeer. Now that is REAL love. Izzie was willing to help him with his marriage if that was what he wanted. That is REAL love.

I'm not a fan of George/Izzy -- I liked how they were in seasons 1 and 2. I find their storyline a little off the mark for my tastes. Don't hate it, just not fond of it.
But yay for Mer/Der! = the reason I watch GA.

I don't think Izzie even knows what love is. Have you not read the title of the second episode? Love Addiction. It is a real disorder. One I strongly suspect the lovely Isobel Stevens posseses. She confuses physical with emotional.
I honestly do not believe for one moment that George and Izzie belong together as anything but friends. If they had started this relationship back in season one or early season two I would have rolled my eyes and gone yippee another cliche romance that bloomed from friendship. However, when faced with a death like scenario George wasn't the one Izzie ran after for sex. It was Alex.
Which brings up a second point of mine: If you are all such big fans of George why would you want him with Izzie? She treats him like a child. She doesn't really look at him as a man but as a possession that is her's to control. George deserves much better. I don't necessarily think that is Callie at this point. George and Izzie love each other, it is obvious, and they should follow their hearts and be together. I feel sorry for Callie but she deserves a guy who loves her. Sometimes, some marriages are just wrong, and that is what divorces are from.
George and Izzie also have a million times more chemistry than George and Callie.
And for the person who said Callie is not pretty, shame on you, Callie is gorgeous! I love her, just not with George.

George and Izzie are the ONLY GOOD thing that happened in season three. Their chemistry just leaps off the screen.
I was so thrilled after seeing the Grey video and they had two-near George and Izzie kisses and they were all over that video, they had more scenes than Meredith and Derek, LOL.
I have no diea how someone cannot see the sexual chemistry those two have. In that scene in the video where Izzie gets into George's face and they seem close to kissing and then she leaves, you can tell just how much George wanted to kiss her. His whole face is longing, that is so hot. And then in that scene where she elans in to kiss him and they are smiling. Izzie never smiled like that at anyone, not even Denny. The only other time I have seen such a radiantly happy smile from ehr was when she and George made love, just pure and total happiness and complete love.
And George is smiling at her big time.
I couldn't calm down for hours after that, that is how much I love them

So we have no values because we love them? So the Meredith and Derek fans must have no values either as they started off as an affair as well. And then they ahd disgusting sex at the prom with Addison very close by.

Ok. Gizzie have great chemistry but only as friends. Puttin them together was wrong wrong wrong. George and Callie won't last either. I know they have their problems but its obvious by their chemistry that Derek and Meredith are soulmates. She can't see that now cos she's depressed but she will. It's destiny. gizzie was such a bad move!!! why did they have to ruin one of the most beautiful friendships ever in the history of television??? i preferred them laughing and bickering and teasing each other. and being there for each other, genuinely caring for each other as friends. all that drama between them towards the end of the season grossed me out! a romantic storyline for izzie wasn't really necessary at that point in the show. she had to deal with her fiance's death, her probation, her daughter's surprise appearance . . . and then an affair???
and i really enjoyed george more as a stuttering loser than a philandering husband.

I am so glad some of the people who don't like Gizzie are speaking up.
the reason why i assumed older audiences would be the ones against Gizzie is simply because this couple is not credible. perhaps you can be in love with 2 people at the same time but i DOUBT that any normal person would notice anyone else when your are in grief, when your fiancé has just died and your world collapses. im sorry if Gizzie fans find it is normal, i just cant see it that way, too soapy for me... but of course, it is true, soap operas are extremely popular amongst older audiences, especially those who stay at home during the day because they are daytime shows..so perhaps i should take my words back..but something that i dont undestand is why do all the gizzie fans hate callie? is it because she's not that pretty? or she doesnt have the perfect body? or because she has her quirks and is at times insecure? i personally think that callie despite her flaws is just great and i really felt sorry for her whe
