We have no idea what to say about this reality TV news item. So we'll just report on it as if it's not the least bit unusual or disturbing:

A Hell's Kitchen video game is in the works. It will be produced by interactive entertainment company Ludia and offered across all major platforms, including PC, console and mobile.

"We are thrilled that Granada, a highly respected and successful global media company, is entrusting us with the Hell's Kitche' property," Ludia founder and CEO Alex Thabet said. "The show has millions of viewers, and the game will bring the fun of the kitchen boot camp experience from the TVs to the PCs and consoles of this rapidly growing audience."

The game will feature Gordan Ramsay prominently, of course, and be released around the same time as the fourth season of Hell's Kitchen in the United States, sometime in 2008.

Moreover, the game will feature a recipe book containing several of Ramsay's favorite food concoctions, according to Reality TV Magazine, that players can print out and cook up in the real world.

Stacey: Do you know of any fires in this area?
Frank Kovick: There was one in ’41.
Stacey: There was one in ’41? Where?
Frank Kovick: In Sunrise.
Stacey: Sunrise…
Frank Kovick: It was huge, it destroyed most of the town.
Stacey: Really?!
Frank Kovick: Founders Day fire. They called it the “Miracle Fire” because nobody died.
