at . Comments

Happy Monday to all you Grey's Anatomy fans out there, and welcome to the 86th consecutive Grey's Anatomy Insider Caption Contest. Let's take a look at who won.

It was a difficult decision, as always, but we chose Carrie as this week's contest winner. Nice work! Something short and sweet about that caption struck us.

The winning reply appears beneath the photo, and you may scroll down to read the full list of responses we were sent last week. Some of them are pretty great!

Thank you to all for playing Grey's Anatomy Insider's Caption Contest and for making us the #1 Grey's Anatomy site online. We appreciate your support!

Bailey: "For the last time, Karev, I know you didn't cut the L-Vad wire. You've made it clear; you didn't do anything, you're totally innocent!"

Avatar

Alex: "I don't care about your rules Dr. Bailey. Everybody else has sex in the on-call room, what's so wrong about a threesome?"

Alex: "Linen Closet at 2. Be there." Bailey: "You must be joking, Karev."

Grey's Anatomy Quotes

I want to marry you. I want to have kids with you. I want to build us a house. I want to settle down and grow old with you. I want to die when I'm 110 years old, in your arms. I don't want 48 uninterrupted hours. I want a lifetime. Mmm. Do you see what happens? I say things like that and you fight the urge to run in the opposite direction. It's okay, I understand. I didn't, but now I do, I do. You're just getting started and I've been doing this for a long time now. Deep down, you're still an intern, and you're not ready.

Derek

When we say things like "people don't change" it drives scientist crazy because change is literally the only constant in all of science. Energy. Matter. It's always changing, morphing, merging, growing, dying. It's the way people try not to change that's unnatural. The way we cling to what things were instead of letting things be what they are. The way we cling to old memories instead of forming new ones. The way we insist on believing despite every scientific indication that anything in this lifetime is permanent. Change is constant. How we experience change that's up to us. It can feel like death or it can feel like a second chance at life. If we open our fingers, loosen our grips, go with it, it can feel like pure adrenaline. Like at any moment we can have another chance at life. Like at any moment, we can be born all over again.
