Adam Jasinski is a Retard

by at . Comments

While cast members on Big Brother spend most of their time annoying viewers, one idiot in particular has irked more people than usual by referring to people with autism as "retards."

Celebrity gossipsite TMZ has obtained a letter from John Gilmore, Executive Director of Autism United, to Viacom bigwig Sumner Redstone and CBS, demanding that they take action after a segment aired on Wednesday's show featuring Adam Jasinski making the stupid remark.

Check it out now:

According to the letter, Gilmore claims CBS made a "conscious choice" in running the quote - and used it for "their own personal goals." It would be hard to argue with that.

The organization calls for "[Big Brother 9] to be canceled, and expects an apology to people with autism. Gilmore also tells TMZ they've contacted the show's advertisers.

I am a mother of an autistic kid and this is not acceptable at all. My son is not a retard he is AUTISTIC.

The person that made the comment about Autistic people has obviously never been blessed. Sad for him because my son has been nothing but a blessing in my life and has made me such a better person just knowing him. I was told at age 3 he would never attend school or communicate; he's now 18 graduating from high school with a 3.25 grade average and offers from colleges everywhere. All it took was patience, lots of love, and most of all protecting him from small minded people like Mr.Jasinski. Wonder if he's ever thought about what kind of LABELS have been put on him. I know I have a few for him but I will be a bigger person and keep them to myself. A higher power deals with people like him.
