Confirmed: Grey's Anatomy to Return April 24
ABC announced today that Grey's Anatomy will return Thursday, April 24, at 9 p.m. EST, with the first of five original episodes.
Let the countdown begin! Five new episodes makes 16 for this fourth season, which leaves us short of the usual 20-plus, but at least it's something.

I think that Merredith and Derek definately need to get back together, but I think they should take it slow. Mer needs to work out some of her issues, maybe with the therapist in order to be able to be in a successful relationship with Derek. Rose needs to get out of the picture. Derek and Mer should be together.

I love this show, and would love to see Christiana and Burke run into one another at some time or another, but since burke got fired due to his own personal opinion we could replace him with like blair underwood. I would love to see meredith and derek break up for good because they just are a mess. she has commintment issues and it doesn't matter what happens they always end up screwing anyways. Rose may be a nice girl. Meredith has had several chances for him. Izzie and George are like sugar and salt. They don'tbelong together. Let Callie find a great man, and Addison come back and get with Mark. Christiana become with someone like Blair underwood, and the chief needs to get with Bailey

I want Der and Mer to get back together but I still want Rose to be in the show. Rose is a good person, but not for Derek, maybe for McSteamy...But Derek and Meredith rock!!! (-;

OK!...Now that I have read all the comments (some of which are insanely crazy and might I say downright violent!) here is what I want to see. Mer-Der sure thing. I agree use rose to make der see how much mer means to him because we all know they are meant for eachother.All the drama between the two is just nerveracking. They are not at a point to realize both of their mistakes and yes, even though mer has lived a very ruff life of abandonment and abuse she has made her mistakes and is old enough to know better. Der on the other hand has an issue with being alone. What is this keep 2 women dangling from a string pattern he has going anyway??? So the scenario of the Mark thing with mer at the bar...I like it, and rose being a witness but getting hit by an ambulance would only complicate ders feelings. He would blame himself for something and that would be another issue. And mer... no sleeping with mark. Seriously!!!mer does not need to have innapropriate sex with any other man. HERE IS A

George and Izzie are soulmates and have so much chemistry, they need to be together soon or I will scream, they are the ONLY thing I care about on the show

So many people want George and Izzie togetehr because they have AMAZING AMAZING couple chemistry together, maybe you need glasses if you don't see it?
They also have true love, true friendship and a deep connection, they were meant to be together and frankly, they are the one good thing left on the show so they better get back togetehr or I will find another show

Yeah I definitely want Meredith to end up being pregnant or something. That would be awesome. I don't know why so many people like George and Izzie together though. They were really great friends and it was so cute and funny to watch them as FRIENDS. now that they have slept together and tried to be a couple it is ruined. They do not have good couple chemistry, I wish I could fast forward through their scenes. I want Christina to have a storyline, I miss Burke so much! :-(
Anyway, Meredith & Derek is the only couple I really care about...

I really love the idea of greyswatcher... but I also like what igorot has suggested, and I'm sure and not the only one merder fan who would be amazingly happy to see a mcbaby!!!! He/She would be the cutest baby ever!!!!!! I'm lookin' forward to see those 2 making it as a REAL COUPLE!!!! Shonda, please, stop with all this crap and let merder be BRIGHT AND SHINY!!!
