Brianna Taylor Speaks on Real World: Hollywood
Matt Richenthal at .Within days of arriving at The Real World Hollywood house, Brianna Taylor was contacted by police in her home state of Pennsylvania and notified that there was a warrant out for her arrest. That was just the beginning of the craziness this season.
Our friends at BuddyTV recently talked with Taylor about the season so far...
Why did you try out for The Real World?
Well, actually, my roommate from home had been talking about it for a few weeks. My ex-boyfriend and I, he wanted us to go, so we were like, "Alright, why not?" It was kinda weird how it happened. The auditions were at 7 o'clock in the morning and I didn't get to bed that night until 4 in the morning. When he called me that morning to wake up and go, I kinda really didn't want to.
You know when you're sleeping how nothing else is important no matter how important it really is? I really didn't wanna go and I was thinking about not going. I felt bad for him. I didn't want him to go by himself. So I was like, "Alright fine, I'll just get up and go with you."
So we got up in line and my ex-boyfriend and I actually made it through the first cut so I thought that was pretty cool. I didn't really expect anything and I guess that kinda helped in me making it because I kinda just BS'd my way through it, pretty much like, "I really don't care, it's kinda cool", having a good time. I really didn't get my hopes up for anything. I guess when you least expect something, that's when it happens, you know?
Were you surprised by how quickly the drama exploded in The Real World house? It was pretty early on, this season, that everybody started fighting.
Oh yeah, absolutely. Walking in there, meeting everybody, it was so weird. I really thought they were all actors because everybody was so excited. Everybody thought that about me, too. They thought that I was an actress. Come to find out, everybody is really real. It's pretty cool â€" the fact that we are so much alike but yet, we're all so different.
We all walked into the house thinking, "It's the 7 of us, we have this awesome opportunity, we're all best friends" and then to come find out, I really, absolutely hate these people. I cannot stand these people.
We learned to live with one another, we learned to grow with one another, and a lot of us experienced people and things that we've never experienced in our lives.
