Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester had a handle on things - namely a pair of wooden chopsticks while lunching on sushi in N.Y. City yesterday.

Joining the 22-year-old actress on the steps of the Brooklyn building was her 20-year-old co-star and on-screen friend-rival, Blake Lively.

Working on Season Two of Gossip Girl, chatting it up and dining on sushi rolls: It's a tough life for actresses Leighton Meester and Blake Lively.

i hate to break it to you all but i was there when they filmed this (they filmed it at my old school) and i think this was part of the scene they filmed, not just them eating lunch.
