Jenni Pulos Speaks on Flipping Out

at .

Jenni Pulos isn't a reality star known for wrapping her legs around fellow sex tape stars. Not that there's anything wrong with that, Jennifer Toof.

But Pulos is a host on Bravo's Flipping Out, a popular series based around the re-modeling and re-selling of homes. She recently spoke on this role in an interview with Bravofan. Here are excerpts from it:

Q: On the show, you’re always on your Blackberry with the speaker phone setting -and Jeff is always within earshot and telling you what to say (to the other person on the phone). How do you deal with him talking to you constantly, while you’re trying to have a conversation? How do you keep from flipping out on him?
A: I stand up to him a lot and sometimes I just have to tell him, “You need to slow down!” while he’s talking to me. But you know, these kinds of things are really not what’s so important in life, so I don’t let it get to me.

Q: What is the filming/shooting schedule like on a show like Flipping Out?
A: You know, a lot of people think that we “set up” a lot of things like some of the other reality shows - and we simply don’t. We shoot for two weeks per episode - there’s 90 hours of footage for ONE show. I mean, people are smart -and they know the difference between real and scripted. But, it’s still funny that I have people ask me, “Well, you’re still married, aren’t you?” And I tell them, “No, I’m not.”

I’m writing in the paper that Kingfisher is on the verge of bankruptcy … which it is. The next morning, I get slapped with two lawsuits from Natey Flint. He takes out a liable suit against the Sunrise Herald and a one-million-dollar liable suit against me.

Stacey: Do you know of any fires in this area?
Frank Kovick: There was one in ’41.
Stacey: There was one in ’41? Where?
Frank Kovick: In Sunrise.
Stacey: Sunrise…
Frank Kovick: It was huge, it destroyed most of the town.
Stacey: Really?!
Frank Kovick: Founders Day fire. They called it the “Miracle Fire” because nobody died.
