Cold Case, L Word Alums Coming to Grey's Anatomy
Seattle Grace will be getting a couple of new interns in the fifth season of Grey's Anatomy. Entertainment Weekly reports that The L Word alumna Janina Gavankar will play a role in the series, as will Cold Case actor Brandon Scott.
Gavankar is most notable for her role as Papi, a promiscuous lesbian in The L Word. While Papi vanished after the third season without explanation, she is confirmed to appear in the sixth and final season of the lesbian show.
While "nothing's been decided yet," producers are still considering on how big the roles they will play on Grey's Anatomy. Thus, they will begin as recurring players. Scott, allegedly will portray a character deemed "junior McDreamy."

i dont like papi and haln & torres are too cute together. and besides, they just said that neither of them are lesbians or even bi, it was one of those rare human attractions, what makes people think they're suddenly going to be interested in other women!

What the hell? Why do they need anyone else? I can see if they're there to be patients but 2 new chars. come on! And ya, the girl better not be there to stir crap between MerDer. Unless she's his younger sis.

that sucks! there are already too many characters on the show... there was not enough time last season to give some of our favorite characters a decent storyline (Izzie? George? Cristina???) and now they're bringing in even MORE new faces? ugh I was really hoping things would get better this season but it doesn't look like they've learned anything.

and she BETTER KEEP HER HANDS OFF McDreamy, he's definitely taken by Meredith. I swear I'll kill her is she does anything to them!!

It's great to see Grey's developing by bring in new characters into Season 5. But, I have to agree to comments above, there is only one McDreamy, get this new guy another nickname. Also, McSteamy is also off the market as well.
