According to Soap Opera Digest former All My Children star Jeff Branson has been chosen to fill the the long-awaited recast role of Shayne Lewis on Guiding Light.

Branson exited Pine Valley just this year this year. Reportedly, fans can see him in Springfield on December 1 as Josh and Reva's son, the on that had recently gone missing in Afghanistan. Branson is the seventh actor to play the character.

Shayne was last seen on-screen back in 2004.
