Ratings for Katie Holmes' debut on Eli Stone helped the show avoid a significant ratings drop this week.
The series saw its ratings drop between the season premiere and this week's episode, but only by three percent (8.8 million viewers versus 8.5 million). It wasn't all great news for Eli Stone, however.
Of the 9.7 million viewers that tuned in to watch the beginning of the episode, two million changed the channel before the hour ended. The series also held on to just 47 percent of the viewers from its lead-in, ABC’s Dancing With the Stars results show.
