I am in LOVE with Jeffery Dean Morgan BUT that does not mean that Izzie should get killed off! Cant they just like act like Denny never died or something and be like 'oh wow, hes back' and everything go back to normal. :]
lol but its not that easy in Seattle Grace Land, is it??
I really dont think they will kill her off, because it is a risky move. i personally will keep watching but will be VERY ANGRY!!
*also lol @ McDreamy is MINE's comment, i totally agree that would be so funny, i can imagiane mcdreamys face now. :[ lol. but it would be very sad too.

I love Denny. I kinda think it would be funny though if Izzie got the brain tumor that the Shepherd method cures. Then it doesn't work. That would be funny. Sad, but funny. I have nothing against Izzie or KH though. I love her

I like Alex, but he has more emotional baggage than Mer does. I don't need another season of any character unraveling before our eyes.
Something is missing this season and I can't put my finger on it yet. Izzie is missing depth to her character and it seems that there is no interaction between her and George anymore. Derek's emotions are foreign to me and Mark has turned mopey like Mer.
I love GA but it has lost its footing somehow...but killing Izzie would seem cruel.

Maybe Denny will come back as Izzie's sort-of-imaginary-friend-even-though-she's-not-a-child (!? !)..
and he will give her is 'approval' of Alex/of moving on with her life.. give her 'permission' to finally love another. finally love again.
(i.e. he'll be her own unconscious self giving her permission to put his loss and her grief behind her.)
is that too psycho-babble-y or what ! :-)
but that doesn't answer the "why would Izzie leave" storyline..
maybe the long-lost, given-up-for-adoption-daughter will become a story thread.

As much as Izzie has annoyed me in season 4, I still like her character overall, and I really hope the fantastic 5 are there till the end. I know some people really don't like Alexzie, but I'm a fan and I hope she can help him. So, I'm always up for another JDM guest star, but please don't kill Izzie off!

In the last episode, "There's No I in Team", Izzie said to Alex that she wasn't going to leave and go crazy like Rebecca. The line struck a cord with me and got me thinking, this could be Shonda's way of forshadowing that something will happen to Izzie that will cause her to leave.
Now, as to what will cause her to leave, I have no idea. The fact that Denny is returning is very suggestive that she might have a brain tumor. So I'm definitely not ruling that out.
If she does have a brain tumor it would also give Shonda a good reason to make use of Meredith and Derek's tumor killing virus.
Another thing that also might be a signal that she is leaving is the new addition to the cast, Melissa George. She is blonde and She is a doctor, but maybe that is just a coincidence.
I don't want her to leave, but if she does leave I will still watch the show. As long as nothing happens to Meredith and Derek, I'll keep watching.

If they kill Izzie they'll regret it because many people are not going to watch the show anymore. I really really like her and it would be awful if she was cut off :(

I don't want her to die! If KH really needs to leave the show, please, dont make her die! It'll be ridiculous! We all love Izzie! And poor Alex! I totally agree with ppwaal! he'll be nothing!

I really hope Katherine Heigl isn't really leaving the show. I have been waiting FOREVER for them to get Alex and Izzie back together and it would be awful for them to ruin everything once it is finally getting good again. She is a good actress and her character is very important to the show, hopefully the writers will see that.
I liked Denny when he was alive, but they have got to stop bringing him back. I get that she thinks about him still, but please...
I think the spoiler probably has to do with Izzie cutting the LVAD wire and Hahn finding out about it somehow. I hope there is no truth to this brain tumor nonsense.

Rise up is the eppy where Hahn finds out what Izzy did. I think maybe she threatens, or her old patient threatens legal action. I don't think they will kill Izzy per se but maybe her medical license will me revoked finally.

I would be so pissed of if Katherine Heigl were to live the show. Izzie is my all time favorite character. I love her with Alex but I do miss Danny, so I hope his appearance on the show will be worthy.

Izzie can leave. The show is crap anyway. Denny was her soulmate although I did adore her with george too, but she and Alex are abusive crap.

holy! if they kill Izzie off or anything like that, i swear! i might not watch any more! well proably not, as long as Mer is still there, i'll always watch the show! but if Izzie gets killed off, i don't know what i'll do. and if Denny comes back, MAN! i'll be really upset! i think she should return her atention on Alex.
