so the reason when you search the nielsen ratings that you only see ratings for the live viewing is cause it takes time to put out the live +7 (which is anyone who DVRed it and watched anytime within 7 days of air date) here is a link for you so you can see.......

All right as experiments are discussed...I remember Chernobil nucliar power station.It blasted out because staff experimented.The consequences were catastrofic for East Europe.
Compared with this lesbian experiments are not big deal.

Well it also bugged me when Gizzie haters said they wouldn,t watch because of Gizzie. They said it so much, Shonda dropped Gizzie even though the ratings did not go down with Gizzie. They only started to go down on 4.8 AFTER Gizzie broke up and BEFORE the strike. How do you explain that the two episodes before the strike had some of Grey's lowest ratings. That was before the strike and Gizzie wasn,t together.
And you didn't answer me, where you as annoyed with the Gizzie haters when they acted EXACTLY like we are.
Did you once say Gizzie isn't so bad and let their fans enoy them?

DVR ratings came out for the first week when CSI was a repeat and even with the DVR ratings, Grey was below its last season premiere by about 20%.
If you have DVR numbers for the following weeeks, please post the link to it here.
CSI has been constantly ahead of Grey this season and not just on its premiere. Episodes 3,4 and 5 of Grey also placed second behind CSI by about 4 millions viewers and Grey was twice second in the 18 to 49 demo which they had never been before.
But yeah if you have DVR numbers for episodes after the Grey premiere that was against a CSI REPEAT, please post them here.

Because Grey last year had 18 to 20 millions viewers LIVE without DVR and even more with the DVR and they now have 14 millions LIVE, that is a 4 million drop live.

I hope everyone enjoys the show tonight and I am sorry if things don't go your way and it is a little nice to be able to vent on here but saing you not going to watch anymore just bug the hardcore fans.

the premier of greys rated more than 5,000 million more viewers than the show than came in second (survivor) in it's first hour. Then it brought in almost 9,000 more viewers in its second hour over CSI. as for the following week debate.
then the next week was the premier of CSI so yes it brrought in more viewers...but only for those who watched live!..DVR ratings came in later putting greys ahead in all. Oh and take into consideration that when you look up the Nielsen rating most of the time you are only going to see the live numbers (Those who watched the show while it was being aired not thos who DVRed or TVoed DVR ratings count) Oh and the number I used above are live numbers!

Hmm I have the right to express my opinion, thank you. Grey matter is censuring us and now the people here are trying to do the same thing. Question, when the Gizzie haters wouldn't give up on bashing Gizzie and threatened to quit, did you lecture them too? After all I learned everything single thing I know about whining and threatening from them.

I was a fan of the whole show.é They just ruined every character and now they are all selfish and weird. Where is Magic? Since when are they 4 people? George and Izzie's friendship and then romance was always the biggest point of interest for me and I don't think that makes me pathetic. They have just always been the best thing on the show, but the erst of the show used to be pretty decent too. It isn't anymore, and the AI thing is the worst thing going on right now but they are also other bad things. Callica and Mark is weird, not because I am against the lesbian thing, I adored Bianca and Maggie on AMC, but because they have no chemistry and the using Mark is disgusting.
I watch sometimes, but not that much. I can miss a few episodes then watch one. I watched episodes 4.1 and 4.4 but not the others and i am not watching tonight. It depends on what is on.

Anyways, some new thoughts that don't involve Alex or George or Izzie, haha...
Dr. Owen Hunt... hmmm. I don't know if I like him yet. He seems really cocky and harsh, but, hey, most surgeons are cocky on Grey's anyways... But the relationship between him and Cristina will definetly be fun to watch play out. I hope it's light and funny and not as serious as Burke/Cristina was, because shes still recovering from that I think.
Lexie and George... well George is clueless! Lexie is new so she doesn't know that yet, so I understand why she is upset, but then again, she didn't let George get a word in edgewise. But I do feel bad for her because she liked him so much. I wonder if she still likes him or if she is so mad at him right now that she doesn't anymore? Thoughts? (Oh, greysaddiction, I'm interested on your thoughts on them, you're a great fan and you're also a Gizzie fan, so you're opinion may be different from mine? Thoughts?)

Okay, WHAT THE HELL.
This is a t.v. show! They are fake people! George and Izzie were not together for almost the first three seasons! How can you say you only watched it see them finally get together?? Or even if you just watched it to see their best friend moments, that is so pathetic. The show has an ensemble cast. You're not really a fan of the show if you say that. You're just a fan of Izzie and George's characters, and that's stupid. Do you really think that Shonda will listen to you guys complain? That is everyone for that matter, weather it's Alex and Izzie or MerDer, or Gizzie... She knows what is going to happen at the end, she has known from the beginning she said it herself. She knows who will end up with who. This is a STORY. It's a SHOW. Stop getting so upset over it. You don't just quit something when it's not going your way, you stick it out and you wait to see how it ends, that's the way life works. Can't remember if this is the same username I used last time.. I would just like to respond to the ratings comments. Many Gizzie fans still watch the show! And so do TONS of general fans who are on the fence or would be happy either way, Alex or George. My friends and one of my cousins included. Although I like Alex and Izzie, I'm not a fanatic, and I would not be heartbroken if they didn't end up together. And although I don't very much like George and Izzie, I think I'd be okay if they end up together too. The real problem with Grey's going down is because of the srike first of all: the producer's were taking it too slow the first half of the season, and then didn't have time to fit everything in in the second, so a lot of things were ignored and many fans lost interest. Also, so some polls, many people don't like the show because they think the Callie/Erica storyline is bizarre. I'm not one of those people, but some people are really hesitant with those issues, but that is another d
