dan and jenny's mum left ages ago (from season 1 she was already gone a year) and she only came back for a few weeks before leaving again. yeah, jenny is kinda whiny but she's not mean. i like her storyline more than the other character though.

in the books, jenny and dan did not in fact grow up with a mom because she left them to iv ein Europe.
however in the series, jenny and dan did have their mom around. she just left last year in the summer, and she's just a couple of hours way in hudson. jenny on the show had two loving parents for most of her life. i dunno if she's mean but she sure is a whiney brat.

you don't understand why i defend her, but i don't understand why people want to hate her so much. well shes my fav. character and she gets bashed in every forum so i fell like someone should defend her. so its okay for the other characters to betray eachother because it 'complicated' for them, but for jenny it makes her a mean person?
remember that jenny grew up without a mum so it wasn't all easy for her either. and she didn't 'do' anything to vanessa. were v and nate even together? by gossip girl time, they were ancient history. jenny didn't even know vanessa was at the show so it wasn't dileberate, it was only a heat-of-the-moment kind of kiss. the other chars. have done things that they later regret and jenny was sorry after it, so that doesn't make her a bad person. yes she has made mistakes like a normal person and shes definently not perfect. and shes only 15, im sure everyone makes bad choises at that time in thier life. i used to party a lot and do that kinda stuff to my p

Whoa! Okay, you need to calm down. Did I EVER say that the other characters were saints?
(1)Blair and Serena have a complicated love/hate relationship. The nature of their friendship is MUCH different from that of Jenny and Vanessa's. You can't compare the two. The betrayal on their part is part of a larger cycle. And were you not on these boards when I bashed Serena for betraying Blair?
(2)Chuck Bass is Chuck Bass for crying out loud. He doesn't care about anyone but himself (except maybe Blair). He was RAISED to be selfish and conniving.
Jenny's just a mean person. She has absolutely no reason to be. She just is. She comes from a family that has taught her good values (unlike Chuck, Blair, Nate, etc.), but insists on acting like the rest of them. That is what makes her a bad person. I don't get why you're defending her so vehemently. Are you saying that what she did to Vanessa was okay???

by that logic, chuck, nate, serena, dan and blair all lack integrity!
Serena DEFINENTLY betrayed blair by sleeping with her boyfriend, stealing yale from her and taking her answer to the Dean's question behind her back
Chuck DEFINENTLY betrayed Blair by cheating on her with that designer chick and leaving her at the airport, and betrayed Nate when he slept with Blair
Blair DEFINENTLY betrayed Nate when she slept with Chuck behind her back, and betrayed serena by putting her answer as the guy she killed
Nate DEFINENTLY betrayed Blair when he slept with Serena, and betrayed vanessa by sleeping with catherine
Dan DEFINENTLY betrayed Chuck and his father by sending in that story
if you think betrayal is bad, i guess you shouldn't be watching the show as almost all the characters betrays eachother! it makes me laugh to think that jenny's betrayal was the worst - you people are so quick to

aaron seems nice, but i think he totally needs to explain to serena who all these girls are. one girl kissed him on the mouth!
im not a die-hard chuck and blair fan because i am a reader of the books. if uve read the books, you will want blair with nate. they are the main couple in the books. however, i did like them better in this episode. i just hate when theyre mean to each other!

First off, Nate and Jenny are gross! I makes me a little annoyed watching them make out and being "in love" - which i think is so so unrealistic! Nate is a serial dater...he went out with a 40 year old woman before a 15 year old teen!! It's ridiculous.
Seriously, what do they have in common?? and when did he develop this so called crush on jenny??!
I totally love those B n C moments on the show! favourite thing about gossip girl. The interactions and the cute gestures of love towards one another. I loved it when Blair said the person she lost her virginity to was someone she loved!! awww...she said it! finally! And the part when Chuck said, "For you anytime". and they just gazed into each other's eyes! so romantic, and i can't wait to see what happens next between those two love birds!
and i dislike dan for sending in the story on Chuck's family!! awful guy, like lousy morals and loyalty. It makes me hate him more.

vanessa needs to suck it up. she doesn't own nate. they were never boyfriend and girlfriend. they went out maybe twice. that's total! lol she doesnt really have any grounds to be mad at jenny. maybe awkward, yah. but she cant be mad at her. like i said before, they need to bring in someone new for her and not messing with the staples nate/dan/chuck for her.

Betraying others is NEVER okay. People with integrity know that.
And yes, it was Nate's choice too. But you have to remember that he is no longer speaking to Vanessa and they are no longer friends. Jenny, on the other hand, is still friends with her and should have never crossed that line out of respect.
