Grey's Anatomy Forum: "These Ties That Bind"
One week after the departure of Erica Hahn (Brooke Smith) from Grey's Anatomy, new face Sadie (Melissa George) arrives to shake things up in Seattle tonight at 9 p.m.
Also, this week's episode, "These Ties That Bind," marks the first for Owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd) as a full-time character. Now that's positive news everyone can agree on!
Another terrific guest star, Mary McDonnell, makes her debut tonight as Dr. Dixon. As one fan put it, she's the biggest thing to happen to the show since ... Kevin McKidd!

i luv the whole izzie/alex/denny thing! so what if its all fantasy?? they just cant let eachother go, wats wrong with that? its called tru luv ppl!
lexie nd mark is just ewwwww! he deserves so much better, y dont they just kill lexie? shes reli stupid d annoying.

speakin of couples dr.hunt nd christina r so HOT! they hav amazin chemistry nd they're so intense.
sadie im not sure about but at least shes causin drama! which is always good. luvin dr.bailey of course- shes just amazin but more george! dont put him wit any1 just by himself bcoz he's better by himself.

No that is the only scene George got. George is why I continued watching when they ended Gizzie. Without him, I don't want to watch. We deserve an explanation and I hop0e the mods here address this.

Here is what I (put emphasis on "I") think:
*Izzie should die. I hate her.
*Izzie's broken. And you know what happens to broken stuff? They get thrown away!!!!!
*Lexie and the other interns are 10x more crazy then the original interns, and not fun crazy like the latter. Just...crazy.
*Denny, your dead. Go away.
*I thought this show was called "GREY's Anatomy"? Behind George, Mer gets the least air time!
*I think the only part George had in the last episode was when Lexie kicked him out of the (creepy) intern hangout. At least that was the most significant part he played in the ep, anywats!
*Dr. Dixie is hella retarded, socially and mentallty.
*Alex, I liked you better w/the less mentally insane pregnant chick!!!!!!!
*Plz die Krista Vernoff, you as head writer and showrunner of season 4 screwed everything up.

AND STOP with Mer and Lexie, she doesn't want to have a little sister. And that's all. They are not a family! People can't face and in this moment be a family. Some people live together all life and they can't be a family. She have a family: Derek and her friends. Lexie may be only a "little" friend, not sister! Yes, they can have good professional relations and be "little" friend. That's all! And it's not Derek's business. STOP IT!!!!!!!!

Since ABC News reported two weeks ago that Grey was cutting down on George's story because TR was gay, I can very well say it. A branch from ABC is saying the diminished George screentime is totally due to him being gay, if they are saying it, so can we.
In a ton of story? Are you kidding? he has 5 seconds of airtime last episode. Not being in a ton of story is the understatement of the decade.
I agree with you on Mark and Lexie, eww, but the rest, not at all. I also hate Alex so he can leave for all I care. He takes way too much airtime.
And please don't call persons people, it is patronizing and insulting!

Ok people - they are not going to fire TR! He just hasn't been in the story a ton lately, fine. But you can't go calling ABC lesbian/gay haters - that's just not right.
Anyway, this episode was great! I, personally, am very intrigued by the Izzy/Denny storyline - am looking forward to seeing where Shonda is going with it. I like the Sadie thing for the time being - hopefully the interns will learn a few lessons next week when they attempt to operate on each other and have to turn to Meredith for help. Hmm.
Hunt/Cristina - starting to like that a little bit more. Again, looking forward to seeing where Shonda will take it.
And I agree - finally we got to see a little more of Mer and Der together. Wow, finally.
Callie's breakdown - happy they did it because otherwise it would have seemed like no one really cared that much that Erica was gone - but Mark and Lexie? No, no, no.
