Memorable Grey's Anatomy Scenes: The End of Callica
No matter how you feel about it or what went on behind the scenes, last night's episode of Grey's Anatomy, "Rise Up," marked the emotional end of Callie and Erica. A fight over choosing sides - specifically what to do about Izzie Stevens - resulted in the split.
Here's the clip of Callie and Erica arguing outside Seattle Grace ...
Follow the jump for another terrific scene from last night - which is actually two scenes, Alex being told off by Owen over his treatment of the patient and then Cristina confiding in Hunt - and follow this link to browse our full section of Grey's Anatomy videos by episode ...

Lexie: Mark, I'm dying. Please tell Meredith I love her and that she is a good sister.

I've read a bunch of these posts and you guys piss me off. There was nothing wrong with the way Erica interacted with the rest of the doc's. Go to you tube and watch grey's new docs on the block. And watch her interviews. She was and is charming. Dr Hahn just played a bad ass. The doc she played on Crossing Jordan acted just like Dr Hahn. Brooke Smith played Dr. Kate Switzer on Crossing Jordan. She can't help it that she is hired to be a bad ass.

Everytime I watch the last scene that Erica was in. I get more pissed off:( What a shitty way to get rid of a person.

Bring back all the fired actors.
Cristina is best with Burke.
Hunt is aggressive while Burke was gentle with her. Plus Burke was beautiful.

Hallo Zusammen,

Bring Brooke back, I miss Erica..

I have been so upset over this show. I guess I need to get a life. I for once thought that we could have this kind of relationship on tv. And people would except it. I have went as far as telling others that this is 2008 and where here where Queer. Get over it. For this I am sorry. This is the USA you have the right to not except the things you don't want to. The majority has spoken and our voices have been quieted. The relationship could have been a wonderful thing. Something positive that the gay/lesbian community could relate to. But it wasn't to be. This site has been a great place to come and express my feelings. Thank you for letting me do just that. As for Callie and Erica I will miss you all so very much. I loved your relationship and the possibility of what it could have been. As for me I will clean out my closet and crawl back in. Thank you for the memories Callie and Erica!!!!

McSad - Erica said that after she had gotten emotional with Callie and saw how Callie reacted. Her comment to Bailey was actually a shot at Callie. I think Erica's frustrated because she's always been judged for seemingly having no emotions and being hard, and then as soon as she starts showing emotion she gets punished for it, both by Callie when Erica had her revelation, and by the Chief/Callie when she became emotionally attached enough to her patient to report the hospital.
The one thing I'm worried about (and yes, I do think it's Erica's body that Callie cries over next week), is that she's going to die by suicide. Michael Ausiello reflected on Erica's departure and speculated about the circumstances surrounding her exit, and all of them were suicide scenarios. He even mentioned that people have killed themselves for less than what Erica was fighting for. I'm already upset over ABC's handling of this situation, but if they have Erica commit suicide, I'm seriously done. There i

I totally loved erica and callie together. They was learning things that they didn't know about each other and themselves. But you can't learn anything when you got close minded people out there pulling the punches. If you seen the preview of next weeks show. There is someone on the op table and Callie is crying. She probably lost the love of her life. But at the end of the day. Sloan will be there to pick up the pieces and all will be well with the world. She is back with a man. And all of you will be happy. It is hard to believe that we can put a fine black man in the white house. But we can't have 1 lesbian on ABC. It is time for a CHANGE!!!!!!

it's amazing how in the previous episode erica said "dont get emotional, we dont like a girl who gets emotional" to bailey and now she is the one who gets emotional with her patient. They made brooke's character a baddie. =(
ABC SUCKS!

i agree with mcabby, jess and baylor obviously.but i also think Brooke Smith(who is sexy too me)was fired for one reason and it was'nt because she played a lesbian it was because she was'nt a "hot enough" lesbian.atleast not too the homophobic, stereotypical executives at ABC.they clearly wanted the kind of "lesbians"you see in crappy porn films.I guess Brooke(who is straight and married) looked too much like what a "real" lesbian looks like for the networks taste.and thats a fucking shame.IT'S 2008 damnit!!

I totally agree with 4ccsofgreys. Erica didn't fit and didn't bond with Sg doctors. Either her character was not well written or just no chemistry between Brook and the other members of the cast... donno, i'm just happy she's out. As for the Callica, let's i think it was going nowhere, Callie is just great and in this ep she proved that she is a smart person and a great human being, she was able to move on after George and she didn't became a bitter person. Yayyy for Callie, she became one of my fav characters. As for erica i think in this ep they showed how close minded and bitter she can be, i mean she was not even able to understand and consider Callie's point of view and just because Callie was having a different opinion she had to judge her so harsh. Anyway i'm sorry for Brook, but i think it was a good decision to take Erica out, she was never part of that place. Plus we cannot compare her bitterness and way of being with beginning of Addison as SG, come on add just has a natura
