Dear NeNe,
My name is Janice Smith, I would love to meet you and also speak at one of your Twisted Hearts Functions. You don't know me and I'm not anybody important just a 49 year old mother of two sons. (My youngest son would be 28), my oldest will be 30 on December 14th of this year. I lost my youngest son and his girlfriend at the tender ages of 25 on December 1, 2005 due to domestic violence. I know first hand how devastating domestic violence can be. The anniversary of my son is coming up his birthday is also coming up on January 29th. This has been a very hard three years for me and my family. I'm in the process of writing a book I believe sharing my really bad experience with domestic violence and losing my son will help someone else get though some really hard times. By the way I think DeShawn has a great organiztion as well teaching the girls self-esteem, having self-respect is wonderful. I would love to meet you both and be a part of the fight against domestic violence and
