Sneak Previews From "These Ties That Bind"
Below are five sneak previews of "These Ties That Bind," Thursday's all-new episode of Grey's Anatomy. From the looks of it, there's a lot going on at Seattle Grace this week.
In the clip below, Meredith's old friend Sadie (Melissa George) shows up unannounced at her door - to the dismay of both Cristina and Derek, who lament things afterward ...
Funny stuff. Follow the jump for a quartet of additional sneak previews, including a confrontation between Derek and Owen, and the arrival of Dr. Dixon (Mary McDonnell) ...

Lexie: Mark, I'm dying. Please tell Meredith I love her and that she is a good sister.

oh and one last thing
i think me and bgalley are on the same page with this
the hunt/yang thing makes sense!
shonda & them kno wat they're doing
just have faith in them, they've been doing this for a long time now
something crazy's going to happen,
i can feel it.
let's just pray the writers don't go on strike again right?!?

hmm...
everybody's saying how shonda has screwed us over on Grey's. I think this is all part of her master plan. She's gonna make the beginning sucky and confusing, and leave us wanting more info, then shes gonna have something crazy happen in the end of the season or something that puts all the pieces of the puzzle together. that's what she did in season 4.
all this crazy crap happened then in the end it all finally made sense
i bet she knows wat shes doing.
giving us a scare about the mer/cristina friendship
making izzy touch denny
callie's emotional breakdown over hahn
owen's feelings for cristina (still not sure about that one)
and mark hitting on lexi (??what??)
i bet it's all part of a plan to create something big.
but i guess we'll have 2 keep watching to figure out what it will be!
i think Grey's is still the best show on television right now
and for the record, i like sadie :)
i think she's hot and she brings a lot of crazy new energy and questions to the sh

Well I think that the old heart doc is and idiot She acts like rainman. I just don't like her she isn't Erica. I think Callie losing it over the homeless guy. Wasn't totally for that reason. I think it was because she was missing Erica. I can't believe this show has bothered me so much. That I'm actually depressed over Brooke Smith being fired. I'm just glad that they didn't kill her off. That would have really bothered me. I hope that Brooke goes to another net work and gets a damn good part, and I hope that Sara goes with her. I still think that they belong together. CALLIE/ERICA FOREVER!!!

As a person who has Asperger's, I very much enjoyed seeing a realistic portrayal of the condition.
It does not make you crazy, just different.

Anyone know who the actor was that played the heart patient in the most recent episode. He had his transplant heart removed and his own heart started beating again. He is a famous actor and I can't find his name ANYWHERE! IF they are going to have guest appearances, they should really show their names somewhere....

ALSO, if Mer is all wrapped up in seeing her former BFF again and dealing with her past being dug up, where's Cristina gonna go if she needs to talk to someone? DR. OWEN HUNT, of course! See, it will all make sense in time. If we could just get a glimpse at that whiteboard in the writer's room, or maybe the one in Shonda's head, it would probably make our minds whirl but it would also connect all the dots for us. Unfortunately we just have to wait it out week to week. Ah, the agony and the ecstasy of being a fan!

I have really enjoyed this season so far and so I'm going to give Shonda and the writers the benefit of the doubt here. Obviously it wasn't Shonda's idea to fire Brooke Smith, so she and the writers were pretty much handed a bad situation and forced to deal with it – it's not their fault that the Callica story line and Hahn's character were cut short.
Also, the buzz on the writers' blog as of late has been that the current theme is dead people who don't "stay" dead; e.g. Denny, Ellis, maybe some others. So let's hope that all this Denny nonsense will help Izzie and Alex to develop their characters as well as their relationship. Likewise, Sadie's arrival will hopefully help many current relationships and plot lines - Cristina and Derek becoming friends, Cristina and Mer becoming better friends, Mer and Der figuring out what it means to be in a real relationship, and maybe even Mer struggling with the whole Ellis thing (you know this whole "reading mom's diaries" thing is no where n
