Tim Kring Goes for the Kill

Show in Crisis

Our site has received a number of comments that focus on its recent negativity toward the show. We greatly appreciate the feedback, but do feel the need to clarify:

The Heroes Fanatic staff loves this series. Granted, we get frustrated by certain story lines, but we tune in every week, we take the time to write episode guides, post photos, quotes, etc. We wouldn't do so if we didn't enjoy what Heroes had to offer.

Still, it's also our job to report the news - and there's no getting around the fact ratings are down 21% from last season, a pair of producers have been fired as a result, and two leading entertainment publications (TV Guide and Entertainment Weekly) have questioned whether the show will even be around for a fourth season. It would be irresponsible of us to turn a blind eye toward these developments.

Even Heroes creator Tim Kring is aware the show needs a change. He recently tole E! Online that a couple characters will soon die:

"There are a couple more deaths planned," Kring said. "Someone you have come to know will not make it to the end of the season."

Who do you think this should be? Which character would you kill off?

That's true :D I can't believe that Heroes had lost so many viewers, and this is the best season yet. There is even suck a website called www.heroessucks.com . What the?? There better be a season 4, and Season 3 Volume 4 better not be cancelled. At the way things are going, I am afraid that might happen. I love Heroes and if it does get cancelled, I would be extremely disappointed. Season 2 was the start of the downfall. There was supposed to be 24 episodes, with Volume 2 "Generations", Volume 3 "Exodus", and Volume 4 "Villains". But the strike ruined everything and changed it to a tiny 11 episode season, consisting of only Volume 2 "Generations". I heard that Volume 2 was supposed to have 8 episodes, and Volume 3 & 4 would make up the rest of it. Heroes better find a way back to the top where it WAS a global phenomenom. I would really love to see the series finish without any cancellation or any kind, in other words, to see it end in the way the writers want it to be.

I agree with Terence. The fact that the show's got too many plot holes is what makes it more citric than the first two seasons! But i agree with the Time Travel package..it's seriously making the story seem a little half-baked.

Because the "New" factor is gone and to many plot holes in the story. They need to get rid of the Time travel ability from the characters because that is what is destroying the storyline.

why the heck has the ratings been dropped so much though? this season is the best one yet, and im not just saying that.
