In a surprise casting coup, One Life To Live has switched up the role of new teacher Schuyler.

It was originally intended for One Tree Hill alum Brett Claywell... but the show has hired Scott Clifton (pictured, formerly Dillon on General Hospital) for the role. He'll began taping on December 8 and will debut in January.

Claywell, meanwhile, will stay on as a police officer whose name is yet to be released.
