Eden, Abby and Collen, really suck's big time. It's like watching a bunch of idots but let's not forget Tara,her daughter and Noah, can not stand any of them either. Y&R needs to replace all with decent actor's.

I haven't watched Y&R in a long time. However, I knew something was going on with the part of Brad. It seems like the writers didn't have a storyline for Brad (ran out of material). Brad, Niki,Paul,Nick,Jack & Sharon are really the only true actors on the show. Please take Abbey, Coleen & Eden off! I can't bare the sound of their voices and they can't act. Please find replacements if you must keep their characters active. Don Diamont has numerous fans which will follow!

I am so upset to see that Brad Carlton is no more in the Show. He was such a great actor and made young and restless worth watching.
Not to forget how amazingly good looking he is. Please Mr. Bell please bring him back. We need to see him again !!!!!

Man i could cut the estrogen in here with an AXE lol. I am a 38 year old man. Having to listen to my 69 year old mother RANT ( to put it NICELY) about the DEMISE of "Brad". She saw the very "FIRST" episode of Y&R and also Don's FIRST episode as a "Pool Boy" and man is she livid. "Y$R YOUR LOSS WILL BE ANOTHER SOAPS GAIN!!!"
As for me i saw the first episode of him as a
"pool boy" as well, I was 15 ( if my math is correct). For 23 years i (through her eyes and my ears) have followed the storyline. I can only HOPE for the ladies sake that "BRAD" is swooped up by another soap. IMHO its just "BAD" business for Y&R to kill off such a popular charaacter.

I know I will miss that smile and that wonderful chest he would give a peek of every now and again. He was a wonderful actor. I was there when you first came on and now that you are gone. Hope God blesses him with a greater role somewhere else.

I agree...letting Brad go was a mistake, but I'm curious to see where the story goes now.

I guess it's too late to get the Y&R people to change their minds on the firing of Don Diamont. It's mind boggling that they would get rid of him as there were so many interesting story possibilities that they could have explored for the Brad Carlton character. The viewers loose again. The current shows are so boring.

I have been watching Y&R since the beginning. I remember Nikki as a teenager. The Y&R family is very important to loyal fans. I find it tragic that Y&R would fire one of the family. There are so many characters on the show that are not part of the original crew that could leave. I will have to say that with the influx of the younger actors, the Y&R folks must think the baby boomers don't buy sponsor's products. Well, there are many many boomers who watch Y&R and we are not happy with the Bell klan right now.
With a busy schedule, I have cut my soap watching down to one soap. With Brad gone and Philip Spaulding back, looks like the Guilding Light will be back on my radar.

Oh the irony--the pool boy/NAVY SEAL drowns!!! Don't see how they can "revive" that one...and what a shame!! If there was ever any doubt about Don's ability to act, I would point to the very compelling storyline where we learned about his past. He was fantastic throughout that entire unraveling of what happened to his family...he deserved an Emmy for that believable performance and a few short years later Y&R has let him go!?! Why didn't the top executives take a pay cut, or the creative(???) people they hire as writers...cause they have now caused a CHASM which(short of Philip Spaulding coming back to rescue the Guiding Light)CAN NOT BE FILLED!! Y&R has committed soap opera suicide with this decision. Don Diamont rocked that show, but the writers, producers and executives disrespected his brilliant contribution period!!

I agree with all these comments Don was an important character he's been there thru some great stoy lines. Great characters with good stoy lines are the reasons I've enjoyed Y and R for the last 30 years. And also because Y and R usually sticks to a more realistic story with belivable characters. But, as of late some of the stories are getting too unbelivable (which is why I stop watching all the other soaps). So maybe they should keep the actors and actresses and get some new writers! Maybe It's a good thing Don got out when he did It may save him some embarrassment.
I would like to Thank You for at least letting Brad go out as a hero.

Gloria needs to be killed off. Why did you kill off Don Daimont? Brad and Victor was getting ready for a show down. I know Brad will return. Most all deaths return. Brad is not dead. Bring him back. I am so angry. How can I write him?

I cried when I viewed the shows that I missed not knowing that your staff had decided to kill off BRAD THE MAN. I just loved his acting if was so real every womens dream of a fine hunk of a man to look at each day (of course in my dreams) I have watch the y&r for years.
I just couldn't help myself but I cried like a baby.:(

I just don't understand why you would get rid of Brad, you have other people that should have been removed! Abby is a terrible actress! So is eve, cut them both loose is your having budget issues, I have watched this show for 26 years..I'm so upset over what you have done!

Fired or let go because of cutbacks due to the economy & loss of sponsors? Not the same in my book. How about letting the beeny-boppers with no acting ability go & save the ones we love to hate! Brad's character had tons more depth than say even some oldies but goodies like Victor and Nikki.
Brad is the male partner personality as Phyllis, they are both great. Bad move guys. Jumped the gun too soon. A layoff or story line to bring him back (or at least have Y&R fans hoping and waiting) would have served you much better.

Another thing, we are sick of seeing Lilly and Cain waffle around. Cain made his decision so let him live with it...get with the program. Billy and Lilly are great together and Cloe is a looser. She and Cain are okay together so let them stay married. Will you stop fooling around with Jack..I love Jack but he is a lying crook. Make him good for a change. Michael has been balistic for ages, time for him to calm down. I could go on but they won't let me write the show.

The writers of Y&R have had their heads in a dark place with the Cain and Chloe situation (what a yawn). I hate Phyllis and Nick together and now they've killed off Brad. I think the writing staff should be fired and keep the actors. Listen to your viewers.......

I was very upset to see Brad go. I have been watching the Y&R for years and lately the writing has gone downhill. I really don't know what you guys were thinking.
