WELL::::::::::::::::WHAT TO SAY:::::::EXCEPT THAT I AGREE WITH TRACY (CONMENT LINE #30) I HAVE BEEN WATCHING Y&R FROM DAY #1. WHAT ARE THEY THINGING OF. BRAD'S CHARACTER HAS BEEN A BIG PART OF THE SOAP. YES HE IS GOOD LOOKING AND ALL THAT OTHER STUFF, BUT HE BROUGHT SO MUCH MORE TO THE PROGRAM THAN SOME OF THE OTHER CHARACTERS HAVE. WHY DO THEY KEEP GETTING RID OF SOME OF THE MAIN CHARTACTERS??? IF AND WHEN DON DIAMONT GOES TO ANOTHER SHOW, I'LL BE THEIR. LEAVING THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS BEHIND:::

Brad was the main reason I watched. It feels like you killed my best friend. He was strong, handsome, and stood up to everyone. And he was the hottest dude without a shirt! Please, bring him back from the dead. What were you thinking??

I can't believe Brad is gone. He's really one of the few good looking men (ie over 30) they have. His character could have gone far. Anyone know if he's going to another show? I hope so.

I was just commenting to a friend how great Y & R has been lately and now I read this!! Don Diamont is such a great actor, why is he being let go? He is the one man on Y & R that really mixes it up and gets everyone talking. He plays the good guy/bad guy part so well,I am really disappointed to hear this. I think he is a force to be reckoned with and he rocks Genoa City. His portrayal of a tough egocentric businessman with a soft side is perfection. I will miss him. Whoever made this decision at Y & R is off the mark on this one.

I totally agree with everyone's comments--this is a TERRIBLE move on Y&R's part! I cannot believe the writers actually did KILL him. I hoped they would only suspend his character, and temporarily write him out as missing. His character was intregal, and yes he is GEORGEOUS! Mr. Diamont will most definately be missed!

I watched the show today and am deeply sorry that Brad died. I have been a fan for over 20 years like most of us have. I cannot believe I cried! What a mistake that he is leaving the show. Dang you guys!

I sure didn't see this coming. I feel like I got kicked in the gut. I loved Brad's character a truly feeling guy and a great dad. Why would Y&R ever fire him? Brad has been such a handsome staple and such a fine actor on Y&R. One stupid decision.

I can't believe Y&R would let him go. He's been on the show soooo long, over 20 years. He's a key character. I'm sad to see him go.

I liked Brad Carlton and I am shocked that he has left the show. I didn't see that happening at all. What a shame. I have been watching this show since I was in my teens and I am in my 50's.
He will be missed!

He was really the only 45 year old good looking, classy guy on the show. I am going where Brad goes. He is a smart guy and was the ONLY reason I watch the show. I am sick they let him go. What a bad decision!!!

Not Brad! I was shocked to find out he is really leaving and dead. That show is going down, they have terrible storylines with Amber, Kevin and their gang. Jenna should of stayed gone and Daniel is just there, Lily was the best thing that ever happened to him. Mrs. Chancellor's beau is bald and boring! And Billy should of stayed in Hong Kong or they should of brought the cute Billy back. These are the ones who should of been let GO!

I have been a fan of Y & R for 25 years. I grew up with the show. I can't believe Don Diamont is being let go. I've never written about a charactor before. However, too many of the old cast have been let go or moved on. If Dom is going I will be one less fan of the show. He acts his character very well. I'm actually outraged about this. Does Dom a fan site or who can I write to keep Dom on the show?

I am so devastated that Brad is being killed off.
Why did you have to make it permanent?
Why couldn't the door be left open for a return ( but not as a ghost please).

The writers are crap now. I have been predicting the outcome of every storyline ever since they started. Pathetic really. Brad was a strong component to Y @ R. It's now full of weak actors and even weaker storylines. Good Luck Don, you will be snapped up by producers who know a good thing when they see it.

This is so wrong to lose Don Diamont he is one of the best character's the Young and Restless had........RE..Think this move Y/R it is not to late to make it work...he hasn't had a great story line for along time so what a disappointment this has been but.. just when a person has hope that the Y/R will start a great storyline with Brad and Sharon it all goes to hell in a hand basket............SHAME ON THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLES..

There must be something more behind this move! Brad has played a central role for so many years in so many plot lines. You are letting go of one of the Lifelines of Y&R. Now when someone turns the show on for the first time in a while, they will see one less person they recognize, which is a big reason for not caring about Y&R anymore!

What are these writers at Y&R thinking? Don Diamant adds to the conflict that any good drama needs. Diamant is without a doubt one the most talented guys on daytime. Not to mention one of the most handsome. I have followed this soap to 15 years. Save Brad Carleton please.

Yes of course we will all miss him. He has been there for so long and his storyline is finally getting intesting again. I can think of better people to let go than Don.

I cannot believe that you are getting rid of Brad. I have watched your show since the beginning. Talk about someone who has no story line, you could have dumped Esther, she is a total nit wit. I wish Don Diamont success and you have made a terrible mistake.
