Eric Dane Seeks New Role: Fatherhood
He portrays a playboy doctor who has all the ladies swooning on Grey’s Anatomy, but in real life, Eric Dane, a.k.a. “McSteamy,” is happily married.
Now, he reveals that he and Mrs. McSteamy are trying for children!
“We’re currently working on having kids,” Dane told Access Hollywood of his and wife Rebecca Gayheart’s future plans. “I want to have kids. I’m ready. I have no experience with having kids, however, I’m ready to feel out those experiences.”
Rebecca Gayheart and Eric Dane have been married since 2004, and while Eric might not have much experience with kids, the actor knows what he wants for his future children - especially if they happen to be daughters.
“I don’t want her to be steamy if she’s a girl,” he says.
