Christina will pick Dr. Dixon for the surgery. We saw in the clips that the chief wants Christina to do whatever it takes to make Dixon the next head of cardio and Dixon wants to do a surgery. And Christina won't have to choose one of here peers.

Next season on Greys: Denny will cook breakfast for everyone. They will think Izzie did it. George will get demoted back to internship to get more screen time. Callie will become hardcore bisexual and have a 3some with Mark and Sadie. Mer and Der will fight some more, notice each other in the hallways from time to time and will never have sex. Alex will be pissed for no good reason. The chief will stay black. Lexie will build Mark an imaginary house made out of candles...oh wait. Seriously, this show is getting dumb and dummer. By the time the series comes to a finale, who knows what we're going to have to endure. Dr. Dixon will fart and give an explanation as to why she farted....Christina will quit the show to do Private Practice.

I hate Mark and Lexie. Why is it that Lexie had feelings for George, and by the time he FINALLY knows, she is suddenly starting to kind of maybe sorta have a chance with Mark? What the hell? Are the writers, oh I dunno...stupid? Those two don't belong together.
MerDer fans: settle down. At least you've got your couple together. Be happy with that. I was a huge Gizzie trooper and that couple went down the pipes because some bitch nuggets thought they were disgusting, which I disagree. But I like how George is not versus last year. He's more put together. Meredith and Derek will have their moments, just be patient and stop complaining. Derek is not leaving the show, Meredith is not leaving the show. Settle down.
Izzie and Alex = face to face, both alive.
Izzie and Denny = creepy necrophilia ghost sex. WTF?
Denny needs to rest in peace, or better yet, take Izzie back to the grave with him. Maybe ghost bitch slap some sense into Lexie, because she's getting on my last nerve.

:) So i'm not the only "Mer/Der addicted to"... and that's why I don't agree with waitong to see that it's something prepaired for them too...(maybe in a few years, right? we just have to be patient :))) try a little understanding maybe ;)) ) My point is that there must be a reason why the show it's called "Grey's Anatomy" and not "Izzie's lunacy" or "Deny, the ghostlike"... c'mon!... Let's just wake up ppl... Grey's Anatomy means medicine, knowledge, friendship, Love, it means REALITY! But now the show has metamorphosed some unrealistic story governed by madness... do you still like it that much? Personally, I don't...

This is to both Carla and anuflas, it is correct in saying that the first three seasons are a full year in GA time. The start of season four was the beginning of the residents second year of their residency. You can kinda figure out what time of the year it is, in season four there was an episode where Alex was sitting in the kitchen of their apartment carving pumpkins where he says something along the lines of Happy freakin' Halloween, so we know it's sometime after that time frame. I had read an article that the writers wanted to complete a full year in season 4 but with the writers strike that was completely impossible, so season 5 is their catch up. You can also tell that in GA time that its the residents second year and not into their third because their interns have not taken their huge test at the end of their first year. So I'm assuming that it is sometime early in the winter, say around January perhaps. Hope this clarifies things up for the both of you.

That means they SO owe us a holiday episode! Hmm, I don't think Cristina will pick Meredith, that would be too obvious. Maybe George, an unusual shocking choice... But that would contradict that he annoys the producers. Interesting to see what happens! And where do I find that CTV promo with George and Alex talking about Izzie?!

loved the first promo with bailey...she's so cute in that 'nazi' type of way
and even though the denny/izzie storyline is weird-the last promo wa funny....loved jeffery dean morgan
and lexie and mark...that was hilarious
but omg! why aren't there any new episodes until january!!!
there is no way i'll last...

From what I understand, seasons one and part of two (until the Christmas episode) are one year. After that the second part of season two, season three and also half of season four are a second year. Then the second part of season four and season five up to date are another year. Remember that when Mer was in therapy and Dr.Wyatt asked her about her drowning, she actually said: "what happened to you last year?".
So...in the Grey's timeline we are in the third year, assuming that they have the fiscal year (July to June) and don't take the regular year schedule. The thing is that according to Grey's, they are still on their second year of residency but I'm not sure how much time (it it's really just a year or maybe 18 months) each resident year take.

What happened to MerDer and George? Lexie and Izzie ate up all thei airtime. At lest Izzie has been there since day 1 and KH is a big star but why the heck is Lexie everywhere and getting more airtime than everyone?

I'm going to continue the where is MerDer saga just as a lot of people are complaining about no more Gizzie, the ridiculous Denny storyline, weird Dixon, the Lexie/Mar pairing, etc. Whatever.
These two where the center of the show, wtf happened? They better have some good thing going on tomorrow.

Mer / Der suck. Always have done...its the most dire thing about the show. Their lack of interaction, is for some of us a blessed relief. Glad the supporting cast is so good.

Seriously where is all the MerDer? It is almost half of the season and they have hardly had any decent scenes together. As much as I love Izzie, and she is my favorite character, I don't like how right she is the main character. Also I loved Denny but now he is pissing me off because there is just too much of him, and all my likeness of him has just slowly disappeared. There is something called to much.
The writers should just re watch season 2 once in a while and think about what made it work, and just go from there.
I want my old show back!!!

ya seriously! i NEED the merder storyline back!! where are they? and although i loved denny, it was when he was ALIVE!! now he's dead and it looks like izzie is going crazy! and i love izzie! what's going on??!!! : ( i hope it gets better soon. i freaking love this show...or what it used to be.
