For Tim Riggins, getting a football scholarship is as easy as cutting class to get drunk. In the category of Life's Not Fair, Matt Saracen plays by the rules without seeing the fruits of his labor. In fact, he's thinking about punting college altogether.

Meanwhile, Coach Taylor tries to hold the football program and the entire town of Dillon together as it readies for a nationally televised game.
