Ok so theres a couple things I want to touch on…
First, a week or two back I had said that Chad Faust was going to be playing a homeless man who can create seismic activity. Obviously I was incorrect seeing as Chat was the Marine who was injected with the formula last night.
Okay. Last nights heroes was great, in my opinion. Yeah there was a small thing or two I could have done without but overall; it’s the best episode this season. That said, I still don’t think we should be sitting threw 8 bad episodes to get a good conclusion to a lackluster season. So there’s still an overall arc problem in the show.
Speaking of Arc problems I want to address eveyone’s, not so favorite anymore, time traveler. This entire season we’ve (yes, myself included) have bitched and complained and thrown our fists into the air over Hiro’s childish behavior (even before he regressed to a 10 year old). Hiro should have learned from his mistakes, Hiro should be more responsible, Hiro sho

i thought that arthur was a badly written character, everytime he killed someone it did just seem like the writers were trying to build up his evil character ( why kill Usutu and Maury? why not just take their powers?)
and it was always unclear what the exact motive was behind arthurs plan. why did he want everypne to have abilities. i don't think the writers put any thought in to these questions at all they just wanted a villain.
Syalr is a much better villain because he does not have a plan at all. he just wants peoples abilities and so he will go around killing people.

i too have been really hard on heroes lately ( nad with good reason) however i thought that this episode was really good. much more like the old heroes.
there were some really great moments in this episode.
the main highlight was of course Sylar returning to past glory.(just keep him this way now please!)
i am still dissapointed with the direction the show seems to be heading though.( catalyst, formula whatever!!!)
this episode was so good that i found myself ignoring all of the plotholes. well all except one and it is a very big one.
we saw that the Haitian was blocking Arthurs powers on purpose. that he actually had control over who's power he was blocking. however, in an early episode when he is buying the formula in some cinema, He blocks Hiro and Daphne's powers when he didn't know that they were there.
this would mean that he doesn't have control over who's power he stops. it doesn't make sense.
it seems like the writers don't mind ignoring what they have written befor

It's more like the writers wanted him to be considered "evil", hence they had him kill people. Just going by his plan, I don't see that sinister at all. He believes by uniting everyone via powers can bring peace and prosperity to the world at last. I get that. Doesn't sound evil at all.
But they want you to think that, so they have him make unnecessary kills and have typical dumb cronies like Flint and Knox not to forget setting up his one son to die.

I've been hard on Heroes lately, but I have to admit that I really liked this one. Sure, Sylar's knack for finding the perfect power at the perfect time is a bit off, but stories have to be driven, right?
Also, there was some idiot last week that theorized that Elle wasn't actually dead. I can't remember his name... but it rhymed with "Baron" I think. Yeah, I was a tad off on that one.
All-in-all, good episode. I forgot how good it felt to have a villain that actually seemed evil. "Oooh, cake!"

I can say that I am glad Arthur is gone he got what he deserved, it funny because while I was watching the episode in the part when Arthur took Hiro powers I got mad and I was like “they need to get rid of him I am getting tire of Arthur already” and at the they make me happy.

They did show that Arthur was a super-villain, even after only 6 or 7 episodes. His ruthlessness, killing Maury, Utusu, taking Peter's powers, taking Hiro's powers, memories and catalyst, and also lying being the father of Sylar. SUPER VILLAIN!

I think it was one more way Angela manipulated one of her sons. She definitely gives Eric Doyle a run for his money for the title of 'Puppetmaster.' Also, just because Arthur wasn't Sylar's father doesn't mean Angela isn't his mom. We all know she has been with Kaito Nakamura. Who's to say she didn't have a rendezvous with another character? Maybe Adam Monroe. They've mentioned that they want to go into Adam's bloodline at some point.
