Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester is not engaged, despite a report in the New York Post that she and beau Sebastian Stan (a former Gossip Girl guest star) announced on their "secret" Facebook pages that they're getting hitched.

Stan's rep told Us Weekly simply that "He is not engaged."

Another source says the supposed Facebook pages are fake.

That settles that. Anyway, here's a photo of Leighton and Sebastian, who played Carter Baizen, a St. Jude's graduate and rival of Nate and Chuck, in Season One ...

They may not be engaged yet, but the lovebirds seem to be going strong. In October, a source close to the actress said Leighton Meester is "really in love" with Stan.

We're glad she's happy and wish this wonderful Gossip Girl star the best.
