Oh and something else came up to mind. If this is recent news it would mean that the concecuences of the actions by this actor would be seen until next year, given that the episodes that we are watching right now were shot a while ago.
So if it was TR, this news should've come around August/September, and if it's Patrick, we would know about it in January which probably isn't since he's the one in the PP/GA crossover. So...my money is still on the Chief.

For some reason, I really don't think it's Derek. Remember that not every character has the same amount of screen time and in this episode was the first that he wasn't seen. Through the season he has had decent screen time (given the increase of cast members). Besides, Shonda ADORES Patrick and gettting rid of McDreamy is television suicide. Even those airheads (sorry) of ABC's executives know that. The show would lose a fairly big fanbase if Derek is cut out of the show.
I also don't see Patrick being that kind of person. If someone had a diva attitude, it's KH by far. She misbehaved first with the contract thing and not earning the same that Ellen and Patrick did, then opening her mouth with the Isaiah thing (she was right, but didn't she realized she could be doing more damage?), then complaining that she didn't have Emmy worthy material...THAT sounds to me as a diva.

i totally agree 'greynatic', i was watching the show and the whole time i was thinkink where's derek?'.dammit!! if its really him i guess its true then, stardom goes to most peoples head. that sucks. i like him A LOT!

After seeing last nights "All By Myself" epidose, I really think it might be Derick! He hasn't been there at all lately...explaining the no MERDER scenes. And he just in reality seems like he might be that type of person that would act that way toward the producers. Hopefully not but I really think he is the one they are referring too...

I think it's Derek/Patrick Dempsey. His screen time has been drastically cut down, which is even more evident considering he is one of the lead characters. There have been a few rumours about him being a bit of a diva and although they would never sack him, this could be a bit of a warning for him. The idea or TR behaving badly just doesn't fit for me and he has been on screen a lot more than Derek has.

I don't think it's T.R. he is loved by the cast, and he just hasnt had that much of a role the past few shows because they havn't needed him for the major storyline. Also, in this night's show, he showed up quite a bit, so that can't be what is going on.
Bailey- I just can't see her being the one to instigate on the set... but I don't know.
Cheif- I don't like the Cheif all that well, so I'm indifferent whether he stays or not.
Derek- Ahhhh.... Derek. He has seemed to be off in the distance for pretty much this entire season so far, which makes me incredibly upset. I have heard as well that he can be kind of picky on the set, and I can understand that the other actors and producers might get mad at him. I think it may just be him, if this story is even legit. In the preview for next week's show though he seems like he "comes back in" (i mean he's dancing for Meredith haha) but I know that they can't fire PD. I mean, really. If he was gone, GA would lose over half of the fan b

Please tell me its KH! She is the crazy one on the show! T.R. has been missing yes, but really the only diva making the news is KH...I mean what about her turning down her award nomination bc she didn't think her character had a good enough storyline? I believe that that is the defination of diva!

It's not Derek, he's the leading man. It'd be like firing Meredith, which they can't because she's the leading woman. I'm thinking it's Chief, which I could care less because he's been a jerk. It wouldn't be Alex because he wasn't part of the original cast. So it's not Callie or McSteamy either.
These are the possibilities:
- Izzie (PLEASE?!)
- Chief
- Bailey

Hmm see, George seems obvious here and others have said the chief. Maybe James Pickens Jr has decided the role is lacking the sophistication that it originally had because the show has deteriorated in terms of class and the chief is being made out as a joke lately imo.

I'm thinking it's George too. And he may not be one of my favorites but I can't see the show without him. I still miss Burke from time to time. If too many characters start geting cut from the show...the entire show is going to go under cause it won't be the same. And that would suck!

Guys someone just posted there is a CTV promo with george and Alex and george notices something wrong with Izzie and Alex tells him not to talk about Izzie to him, so it does seem they are having George be Izzie's best friend in this, so maybe it isn,t him that is fired, or maybe we can make them change their minds. After all they haven't told the actor yet though so if we all let them know how we love George and how glad we are that he and Izzie seem to be being friends again, they might change their mind.
