Susan Sarandon to Appear on ER

As if George Clooney reprising the role of Doug Ross on the final season of ER wasn't exciting enough.

E! reports that Susan Sarandon filmed scenes late last week with the actor Clooney on the show's set at Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, California. 

The episode featuring these two Oscar winners will air toward the end of this season.

According to sources who were there on set for Clooney's return, ER series regular Linda Cardellini (Sam) will appear in at least one scene with the hunky doctor.

"He was charming," one crew said. "Everyone had a great time with George, and he told some great stories about the old days. He really enjoyed himself and was glad he did it."
