Tonight, the Grey's Anatomy-Private Practice crossover event concludes with "An Honest Mistake." Tensions are running high between Derek and Addison - and Derek and Mark.
Elsewhere at Seattle Grace this evening, Izzie Stevens learns her test results were mixed up, Callie asks Arizona out on a date, a veteran surgeon botches a relatively standard procedure, and Dr. Bailey is shocked by the Chief's recommendation letter.

After reading the blog from the writer of this episode, I'm excited to see where everything goes. Poor Izzie too but it'll be good to see how they deliver her story. I'm really ENJOYING Grey's again too.

I agree. I adore George. I adore the Gizzie couple. George is smart, funny, caring, kind-hearted, extremely loyal and so so cute.
The bad sex was insulting but the sudden bad kissing was insulting. Those two shared an amazing hot kiss totally SOBER in that elevator and we were suppose to forget that because Shonda was too huge a coward to go against the haters and to stick to the love story she had planned and that so many of us loved.
She totally screwed us GI fans over to make the haters happy.
And then she ttotally screwed over the George fans to make her buddy IW happy.
If she kills George like rumored, she can't expect the George fans to continue watching this show.

George and Izzie seemed to plummet and die after the lack of good sex. Not sure that the writers were setting a great example there, like no good sex, no relationship. Izzie is gaining more screen time as her imminent demise approaches, but George seems to be stuck somewhere in between on air, and lost in the filing room. He is like Where's Waldo... "I spot him! And a dead guy, two neurotics and a possible lesbian. Great, now I can move on to spotting him on the space station."
George-o needs some airtime if he is leaving, or people will riot. Maybe after the break they will start showing him a little more to build it up. Otherwise we may as well just nod and say "Aw" like we do to the surreptitious corpse of the unknown guy that gets wheeled past in the background once in a while.
I like George, I really do. But he has become something of a ridiculous figure, popping up to give a sage piece of advice, then slinks off to go read a book for another week.

JJ your comment on George and Izzie made me laugh then almost cry. As a huge fan of them, this season is really really hard on me. If they are going to leave, could they at least give us a George story soon to make up for this entire season?
Still not with you on Mexie. They still have no chemistry and their so-called love feels extremely forced and fake to me.

GA does not need so many guest stars. there is no point!!!
Of course doctors are human but Addison wanted her brother to be saved and Derek to be a God then.I didn't like at all he rbehaviour in the OR.
Mark is an awful character. How can he play the friend to Derek??? mrk never cares for anyone except himself. the same i Lexie:she uses whatwever she thinks will help her in her job, takes advantage of everything.She has to go..

Mark and Lexie, I wasn't keen on at the start. But at the moment, I am really rooting for them. Mark seemed to be really offended when Derek said "Go ahead and sleep with Addison" and it was really touching when Lexie told him it wasn't worth it, and he was like "I think it is." They are really growing on me as a couple. There is a lot of potential for them, I hope the writers take advantage of it.
As for Callie and Arizona, I'm liking the direction they are going too. It would be cool to see Callie doing the chasing, rather than everyone chasing around after her. I was a fan of Hahn, but seeing the interaction between Callie and Arizona, is awesome. I think Arizona is baiting Callie to see how much she wants her. If Callie gives up now, Arizona will know Callie wasn't ready or whatever.
Owen and Christina are getting better all the time. Its like she has finally found someone she can spar with. Owen doesn't seem to get all pissy when she contradicts him, he is for the most par

Not bad but not as good as the first two crossover episodes...have some good scenes though. I loved the one with Owen and Christina...how he wanted to be there 40 years later, prying the scalpel out of her hands. The look on her face is priceless...and he's just so messed up inside that watching him try to connect with someone is just heartwarming.
Of course, I loved the Mark and Lexie encounters...the Anne Frank quote was cute and Lexie's face when she saw him beaten up because he told Derek that they're together was just so sweet. She might just be the one to change him...and there's a new manwhore, Addison's brother.
I personally didn't like the fight between Derek and Mark...handsome men punching each other and messing up their faces are not my thing. Though the scenes after that were pretty nice...Mer giving Derek a drink and Lexie taking care of Mark were probably worth it.
The Chief is so freaking out that he's losing Bailey...poor guy and I hate that Arizona turned

I love that George had some scenes with Izzie and Bailey but he still doesn't get enough screentime. And when will we see him actually doing surgery?

I just can't get over with this show..It makes me wanna watch out for more..I like their guests in this episode..i like the way Arizona introduced her date to Callie..She's adorable, and I like OWen and christina..I think they're the ones who's getting married not mer and der..But i still love merder..best couple there is..WIth this epi we saw a different side of derek..and we saw how mer really love him by being supportive throughout..love the couple..I want Addie to be back at sgh..i love her too..
