I would rather Dan and Serena not break and up get back together a million times if it's just going to turn out like this. I was a fan of them in season one, and have been hoping for them to get back together... but it's just getting a bit ridiculous. At this point, I hope they don't get back together again unless their characters go through a major overhaul in the next couple of years.

OMG! This episode was kind of like an insight into a brothel... i mean because of the sex parties and the underage molestation. Lol, but Dan was such a man-whore in this episode! And now I OFFICIALLY hate Ms. Carr! She is such a skank! Oh and I totally did not get the whole Eyes Wide Shut mystery (quote: Chuck Bass) because of the whole Elle thing I thought it was weird and pointless... anyway I can't wait for next episode, hopefully Ms. Crack-head... I mean Ms. Carr will die and the lonely he-slut will get what he deserves!

OMGGG this episode was totally go! expect that there were not chair scenes, i liked the end with Dan and Racheal i cant wait until people find out!!! and the mens club thing omgg! its going to be a great storyline somehow thats going to lead to gorgeina coiming back, in the books i think she lived in connecticut! but nate still doesnt have a storyline i reckon that dutchess woman should come back and stirr things up. i hear nate and blair are getting back together, is it true? i actually wouldnt mine as long as blair ends up with chair in the end

i actually really enjoyed this episode... the ending with dan and miss carr (hate her) was so scandalous, and so typically gg! i honestly don't even care that dan and serena are done, they were getting soooo boring. this thing with rachel was the first interesting aspect of their relationship in forever. i'm curious to see where it goes
chuck was so hot in this episode (as usual). but i was sad there were no chair scenes, and that chuck was so into this new nanny person... but whatever, i know chuck and blair will be together in the end (hopefully sooner than later!)
surprisingly, i really didn't mind nate and vanessa in this episode. they're actually kind of cute. kind of.
and is it seriously a 5 week hiatus? i think i might die.

I don't understand why everyone is getting so mad at Dan for what he did. D and R had a really steamy scene at the end and throughout tonigt's show we all saw that they had chemisty. I love Serena but it was time for Dan to spice things up and this episode just made him SO much hotter! Eventually Derena will be back..but for now I think this storyline is amazing! i always wanted to see D as the bad boy.
Also I loved Chuck in this episode and I think his father's secret is going to make into a really great storyline.
It's the right time to bring Georgina back into the picture!! :)

I'm getting sick and tired of DnS breaking up then getting back together. I want them to be a couple for more than a season. I think people will stop watching this show around season 4 because of this changing partners and stuff. When GG is over I hope to see DnS a couple.
I can't believe they're making us wait until march for the next episode, this makes me mad.

I need to clarify a few things. Serena and Dan are not the Ross and Rachel of Gossip Girl. I read a post that had said Dan and Serena are the couple who HAS to get together and that Chuck and Blair were getting redundant. I disagree with this. Chuck and Blair are NOT getting redundant. They are being pushed to the back burner of the producers storyline bbq. Derena (or however you spell it) has gone through a monotonous relationship that I only started to actually pay attention to in this episode. Finally something risque is going to come between them and test their relationship. However, their lukewarm relationship is still pretty much a gaping fish for me right now.
And they're not just putting Chuck in because he has high reviewer ratings. If that was so, they would put tons of Chair scenes in every episode and fire Szhor and Momsen from the set already.
As for the Nate and Vanessa relationship, I think it kind of provides that emotional relief; that while might be boring, is

i actually liked the episode, despite the lack of chuck and blair, it was pretty interesting and i thought the ending was cool (how he had "1 missed call" while he was making out with rachel) and even though dan and serena bore me 2 hell, i was really glad when serena did that 4 blair, i also wish that they'd show more of nate, instead of having him spend ALL HIS TIME with vanessa, i mean, even when he was hanging out with CHUCK....VANESSA WAS THERE
i lkd him better when he was conflicted...AT LEAST HE WAS INTERESTING, i also really lkd the n/b/c love triangle
i hope GG steps it up some more.. but it was really nice to actually have some scandal..there hasn't been secrets and stuff lk that in FOREVER
OK people. When we first found out that there was gonna be a new teacher that was going to fal for a student everyone said that they thought it should be Dan because his character needed more drama, more spice. Now everyone is complaining about it. I'm not happy that Dan and Serena broke up agian but if you think about it all gossip girl has really been is torture to us. In a, I want some more way. If we had everything we wanted all the time we would be saying "Give us more DRAMA!!!"

1. Yay chuck got a haircut :]
2. Yay Derena no more. I think Serena deserves so much better and in the books shes so self confident her and dan dont even end up being a couple!
3. Where the hell have all my Bluck moments gone? :[ plzz march bring us some hope ugh :/
4. I like this Dan/miss Carr thing and I think its going to be hilarious at school!! She obviously FINALLY gets fired tho caseu i think shes only on for one more episode.
5. This Secret Society/ Chuck Bass version of Narnia plot sounds awesomeeee but I hope that Elle chick is deaddd homes.
I mean this sounds like a murder mystery.
6. Dude Nate/Vanessa... why are u in the episode? Seriously?

God, Dan used to be so sweet. Remember him from last season? Remember when he was so excited that his "DREAM GIRL" finally noticed him? Remember when they went on their FIRST DATE, AND SERENA WAS ON HER GOLD DRESS AND HE WAS WAITING FOR HER IN THE HOTEL LOBBY? AND THEY SIMPLY SMILED AT EACHOTHER? God, he loved her soo much. Now this? Ugh. Sorry I'm venting. This show is just so different from when it started. Nate, Blair, Chuck, and S aren't even friends anymore. Dan was so down-to-earth, and now he's screwing a teacher. Ugh. REMEMBER SERENA AND DAN'S FIRST KISS IN THE STREET?

I thought tonight's episode was fantastic! I was a bit confused by the completely separate Chuck and Blair storylines because I thought some progress had been made there and I do think Chuck and Blair are awesome together and it felt as though the show wanted the viewers to fall in love with "Chair". I guess I'll just wait and see where this is going.
As for Dan and Serena - they were kinda boring and I loved the build up to the Dan and Rachel ending. You knew it was coming but it was really well done and I don't think any less of Dan at all. He truly fell for Rachel because of their shared interests and vice versa. If he wasn't thinking along the same lines as Rachel at the end, he would not have gone to her apartment. I doubt it will be anything long term though - probably more like Pacey and his teacher on Dawnson's Creek way back when. At least on DC, Pacey's teacher looked older - Rachel looks younger than Dan!
I was so excited about this episode. Loved to rainbow of colors that Blair and the minions created with their coats( sorry, had a fashion moment). I'm starting to get a little worried about Chuck , where exactly is this character going? I guess its the suspense that's keeping me interested in him. Glad to see that Blair is back at Constance and still in the running for Yale. So I guess it clear to see that the Serena/Dan escapade is over. This episode definitely opened up some new drama for the show . Cant wait for next week and I'm still trying to understand the relevance of Nate and Vanessa hopefully something interesting happens because they are boring me to death.

I guess I just got my hopes up for Blair and Chuck, and then nothing happened and the storyline has turned to crap. The next episode better be a really good one or people will stop planning their Mondays around the CW at 8

I'm just rather sad with the direction that Dan's character is taking. Sure, characters need to develop and change to keep things interesting, but his character in season 1, and even the beginning of season 2, was the most real and interesting to me... now he's just turning out to be the same as every other character on the show.
did anyone else really hate this episode??? chuck was barely in it, although he looked amazing, serena and dan are annoying, vanessa randomly showed up in trashy lime green pants, jenny had like a one second part, dan hooked up with ms carr which is random, gross, and just plain weird. even blair was verging on annoying.
chair should happen.
nate and serena should be together.
vanessa and jenny should be kicked off the show.
dan should be.... i dont even know, that was way to annoying to even comprehend.
also, dan and serena need to stop the annoying on again off again relationship that bugs me.

and, in all honesty... i want some moments with the non-judging breakfast club. with serena hauled away by aarond and dan (ew), blair and chuck basically estranged (for now!), and nate being with vanessa... they have practically dispersed. and that makes me pretty sad. :( it could seriously give nate a better purpose than he has now... even though i don't really mind vanessa. let's hope the family story line gets there.

Wow. Honestly, I LOVED this episode. It has left me with the suspense that OLD Gossip Girl episodes used to give me. Lately they have been so-so but this, no matter how much I happen to HATE the plot, was a genuinely GOOD episode. Dan is so ughh now, Serena is sweet, Blair is vulnerable, Chuck is back to his old ways, and Jenny has ditched the raccoon make-up. I HATE Nate and Vanessa together, but I have to admit- in this episode, they were kiiiiiindaaaa cute. The only thing I would change about Gossip Girl is GET NATE BETTER PLOTS! He's always a subcharacter now. What happened to the Nate from the pilot and first few episodes of the series? He was the coveted, attractive, sensitive guy. But anyway. I'm happy Chair is taking a break, because that plot lacked variety. HEY WRITERS. MAYBE A LITTLE N AND B ACTION?? [hey, i can dream.]

OK people. When we first found out that there was gonna be a new teacher that was going to fal for a student everyone said that they thought it should be Dan because his character needed more drama, more spice. also, dan and serena need to stop the annoying on again off again relationship that bugs me.

i can't wait for blair to take this bitch down. seeeriously. just wait until she finds out. or maybe a joint-effort w/ serena?
and, in all honesty... i want some moments with the non-judging breakfast club. with serena hauled away by aarond and dan (ew), blair and chuck basically estranged (for now!), and nate being with vanessa... they have practically dispersed. and that makes me pretty sad. :( it could seriously give nate a better purpose than he has now... even though i don't really mind vanessa. let's hope the family story line gets there.

Wow. Honestly, I LOVED this episode. It has left me with the suspense that OLD Gossip Girl episodes used to give me. Lately they have been so-so but this, no matter how much I happen to HATE the plot, was a genuinely GOOD episode. Dan is so ughh now, Serena is sweet, Blair is vulnerable, Chuck is back to his old ways, and Jenny has ditched the raccoon make-up. I HATE Nate and Vanessa together, but I have to admit- in this episode, they were kiiiiiindaaaa cute. The only thing I would change about Gossip Girl is GET NATE BETTER PLOTS! He's always a subcharacter now. What happened to the Nate from the pilot and first few episodes of the series? He was the coveted, attractive, sensitive guy. But anyway. I'm happy Chair is taking a break, because that plot lacked variety. HEY WRITERS. MAYBE A LITTLE N AND B ACTION?? [hey, i can dream.]
