It's finally here. The most anticipated Gossip Girl episode since ... well, the last one. But in all seriousness, "Carrnal Knowledge" looks like it's going to be a great one, and it has sparked massive rumors and theories even by Gossip Girl standards.

Still reeling from the recent developments regarding her grades, detention and admission to Yale, Blair Waldorf devises a plan to bring down her new teacher, Miss Rachel Carr - but then finds herself in even more hot water soon enough.

Meanwhile, Chuck wakes up with little memory of where he was the previous evening. He enlists Nate and Vanessa to help him find out, with surprising results.

What else do you think and hope will happen in tonight's episode?

call me exaggerated, but after i watched this episode, I'm DONE with Gossip Girl. The idea of Dan & Serena breaking up is so STUPID.. and I don't wanna see another stupidity.. well, bye GG..

i meant just watch season one again.

this is a greaaaat episode guys.
the whole series has been about how s and d cannot be together, and it has been too long. too long for them to use the same material. if they're together, what's the gossip?
great music chosen for that scene, way to heat things up :P
i think the carr dan thing is awesome :P woot
chairr.... bleh blair needs to grow up.
the whole mystery thing for chuck? that's a great plot too.
this ep was seriously awesome. i just think if you wanna watch dan and serena smooch all the time the just watch the episode 10 times or sumthing.

Right now i want to see Serena with some sweet, sexy guy, who will support and take care of her (but definately not that Gabriel guy,i don't know maybe it's just me, but he seems to be quite a playboy) I don't even mind to see her with Nate,he was so sweet this episode and so in love, Dan never done anything romantic for Serena even if she was his dream girl.
I really hate Rachel what a tart, she didn't even know about break up of Serena and Dan and just jumped on him.She is evil, u could see it from the first second, that fake innocent face. She likes to play victim. I hope Georgina will come back and with Blair and Serena they will kick her ass...and Dan's too.
Ah and Blair is amazing, as usually.I am so sure her and Chuck will end up together.

Wow, just finished watching the show on line (a nice breakfast moment for me here in London)and reading all your comments and I'm speachless!
I actually quite enjoied the episode.
If everything goes with the Eyes Wide Shut plot (as Chuck said), Elle should be dead: Tom Cruise spends like half of the movie looking for the prostitute he hooked up with at the party, before finding her dead at the morgue.. Only thing is, I read on Ellen's site that Kate French was hired for three episodes: maybe flashbacks? I don't actually think that Chuck is so into the nanny: I think he was intrigued at the beginnig, but at the end he was more interested in his father's secret (searching the safe for evidence), and started caring again about Elle when Elle's employer called from Connecticut saying she never arrived home. He doesn't care about Elle's whereabouts per se, but as a clue to Bart's secret. I think the writers need some time for building up Blair's problems (now that she lost her father's trust), having her realising that material things aren't everything (she has Yale now, but she lost Chuck and her dad), before having Nate/Blair and Blair/Chuck (hopefully). I don't think that Blair will be too much interested in Carr, now, I think the "good" Rachel will decide to leave the scholl after realising that what she did was unworthy of a good teacher and blah blah. I don't expect any Chair interaction either, at least not for two or three more episodes. Dan is evil!!!!! But let's admit it, even if it was for her friend Blair, she didn't even blink before posting a rumour about her boyfriend on GG!
Long post, sorry, skip it if you want!

The Dan and Ms Carr thing was stupid, but the only thing that is really upset me (Besides the fact that no gossip girl for 5 weeks!!) Is that Chuck really does seem over blear and he said that that Elle whore was the 'most beautiful girl he had ever seen'. I cant wait to see Ms Carr go down.

I'll start by saying that I actually LOVED this episode. LOVED. I do have an eensy little problem with how things are going down, though. So, I'm a massive CHAIR shipper, and admittedly would like every episode to be about them, but seriously, WTF. How can we go from huge, high-stakes, game-changing drama (the I love you, C going to Thailand, coming back, treating B like absolute garbage, the awful wife comment, the apology, and B being "done") to NOTHING?! Nada. Goose egg. Oh, excuse me - there was the moment of B running behind C at the opera. Woo effin' hoo. They don't talk to each other. They don't talk to other people ABOUT each other. It's as if they never existed as a smoldering hot, major sexy time couple. Seriously, this is ridiculous and, IMHO, totally implausible. They're either in massive denial (which will hopefully be addressed later this season) or Schwartz is on crack-cocaine. Seriously. Oh and PS: Someone needs to take Derena out back with the shovel and put them out of their misery. Let this be it, man. It's so over.

May san

kasumi youre right! rachel and dan? ewwwww well i just cant wait GG will find it out before rachel comes back again in school. i could imagine dan getting wild with some sexy hot lady not a teacher! it sounds like his really desperate, well atleast serena dated a HOT ARTIST!. i miss chair together!

Gossip Girl

[to Jenny] That's the thing. You need to be cool to be queen. Anne Boleyn thought only with her heart and she got her head chopped off. So her daughter Elizabeth made a vow never to marry a man. She married a country. Forget boys. Keep your eye on the prize, Jenny Humphrey. You can't make people love you, but you can make them fear you. For what it's worth, you're my Queen. I choose you.
